Back to when they were eating dinner before they left

"I was born on a small farmstead in the northern lands of Wall Rose." Historia explains to everyone. This was before she, latina and Eren were taken, plus everyone was recovered from the mission, rescuing Eren, Bertolt, Ymir, and Reiner, everyone was gathered around the table, eating dinner

"It was owned by the noble reiss family."

Flashback

Little historia was carrying hay to the horses " as far back as I can remember, I was helping out around the farm." While she was carrying water in her bucket purse the fences, she looked and saw her mother sitting under a tree reading a book

"But my mother was always reading books. She didn't care to work, and no one cared to make her. She was a beautiful woman." That night her mother was wearing nice clothes and walking towards a carriage with a driver and horse waiting

" most nights, someone would come for her in a carriage, and she'd go off into the city, wearing fancy clothes." Little historia watched as her mother left from the window, then looked at the book that was on the table that she had been reading " for me, that was just like as I knew it."

"But when I learned to read and write, I started picking up books to imitate my mother." She picked up the book and started reading to herself "And they told me just how alone I was. And all the stories I read in those books, parents care about their children. They talk to them, have them, scolded them. I had never experienced any of those things." The next day historia was looking at her mother who was once again, sitting under a tree

" One day come out of curiosity, I decided to try hugging my mother."  Slowly made her way over to her "I guess I just wanted to see what kind of face she'd make." The little rushed over and jumped onto her mother's lap " mommy!" Her mother gasped, historia giggled, but then screamed when her mother pushed her off with such force, she rolled back, once she stopped and was sitting up she covered her nose that was bleeding in shock

"She ended up shoving me away from her. But that was the first time my mother had acknowledged me." instead of the shocked look she smiled looking at her mother " so it actually made me happy" but the look on her mother's face was in happiness more like disgust with tears in her eyes

"Only I wasn't such a coward, I could've killed it...'' She remembered her mother saying before walking away and drying her tears.

"Those were the first words my mother ever said to me." Then in historia's memories, Mother was walking away with a bag in her suitcase "she went to live somewhere else after that. I didn't see you for a long time."

then one night there was a carriage outside her house "And then, five years ago, just a few days after war Maria fell..."A man wearing a hat walked in front of her from the front door, taking off his what" I finally met my father..."

"Historia. My name is Rod Reiss... I wish we could've met sooner...you see I'm your father." little historia gasped

"That man... He was the lord of the land I'd grown up on."historia then noticed her mother in the doorway " The mother I haven't seen in years. Looked terribly frightened." her Father kneeled down in front of her

"Now listen... You'll be living with me from this day forth.". Then, she was holding Rod's hand as her mother was heading over to the carriage, but a shadow came walking out and into the light, making her scream and try to run away until she was caught by two other people. "You know what this is, Lord Reiss." The voice of Kenny was heard, telling Rod. "The fall of wall Maria is got you acting a bit reckless.I suppose you thought you'd get your pretty little secrets to safer grounds, huh?  "
