Part 1

Ryan woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring next to his ear. He clumsily switched it off and rolled over to face his husband of 10 years, Alfie.

"Babe, wake up." Ryan said quietly, shaking his husband's shoulder lightly. Alfie groaned but opened his eyes anyway.

"Now?" He asked tierdly. Ryan nodded.

"Yes. The kids will be up soon and we promised them we'd have a family day today." Ryan told him. As if on cue, their bedroom door opened and Harry walked in, his hand being held by Lukas. They walked over to the bed and Harry climbed up, Ryan placing him in between him and Alfie while Lukas sat at the foot of the bed.

"Mornin' daddy! Mornin' Papa!" Harry greeted.

"Good morning baby boy. What are you doing up so early?" Ryan asked.

"He came into my room last night because of a nightmare and got woken up by my alarms. Sorry." Lukas apologised.

"Don't apologise, it's not your fault. Now baby bear, what was this nightmare about?" Alfie asked. Lukas just ignored the conversation, opting to text his boyfriend instead.

"Big mons'er chasin' me." Harry said, burying his face in Ryan's chest.

"Did Lukas save you from the monster?" Alfie asked, smoothing Harry's ginger locks.

"Of course I did! I can't let any monsters get my baby brother now can I?" Lukas exclaimed, tuning into the conversation when he heard his name. They all giggled.

"Is Tyler up yet?" Ryan asked. Lukas shrugged.

"Dunno. I'm pretty sure he was up until like 3am playing video games though. I heard him when Hazza came in." Lukas told them. Alfie rolled his eyes.

"Again? That's it, I'm taking that damn thing off him for a week. He's never gonna sleep at this rate." Alfie said, standing up and making his way out the room.

"Great, something else to take up our wardrobe space." Ryan sighed. Lukas giggled at his dad's reaction. Ryan felt Harry squirming next to him.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Ryan asked.

"Wet." Harry complained.

"Did you change him when he came into your room last night?" Ryan asked Lukas while getting a nappy and some wipes out for Harry.

"Uhh, yeah I'm pretty sure. I can't really remember, I was pretty out of it. But I think I did." Lukas told him, looking up from his conversation with his boyfriend, Eli. Ryan nodded and untapped Harry's nappy, wiping him down and putting another nappy on him. They heard shouting from the room next door before Alfie walked back into the bedroom with Tyler's Xbox in hand. He put it on top of the wardrobe before sitting down on the bed next to Ryan. Harry crawled over to Lukas and looked at his phone to see what he was doing.

"What doin'?" He asked.

"I'm texting Eli. I was gonna go and call him now if you wanna come with me?" Lukas offered. Harry nodded and stood up with Lukas, grabbing his hand and following his older brother out the room and to the kitchen. Alfie sighed and leaned against his husband.

"I'm guessing Tyler's up now?" Ryan asked. Alfie nodded.

"I told him to get dressed so we could have a family day. He just grumbled and turned away." Alfie told him. Ryan rolled his eyes.

"This is supposed to be a family day and one of our kids is already pissed off." Ryan grumbled.

"Well two of three isn't bad." Alfie offered. Ryan chuckled and kissed his husband on the lips.
