A/N: hi again guys :) so this is my 3rd larry fic, We Are Infinite! :) i took the title from the perks of being a wallflower (obviously), so yeah. even though you all probably knew that haha.
anyways, i hope you guys like it just as much as youve liked I'll Never Let you Go and What the Heart Wants :D enjoy, feedback is appreciated! check out the absolutely adorable larry vid on the right, it's so precious <3 love you guys so much .xx
I don't own anything or anyone, as per usual. Hope you like this!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I wrote this fic when I was a sophomore in high school. That was in 2012/the beginning of 2013. It is now 2014. For this reason, I would like to apologize PROFUSELY for the sheer amount of carroty-ness and dorkiness in this entire story. Please do not judge my level of writing skill by this story, seeing as I clearly had no idea what I was doing when I wrote any of this, and I assure you that my writing right now is not as terrible as it was when I wrote this story. Thanks :)))

HARRY POV

**RIIIIIING**

Harry sighed in relief, shutting his textbook and tucking it into his satchel. Finally, lunch. He had been eyeing the clock the entire hour, willing it to go faster, but it couldn't have possibly moved slower. He couldn't wait to get out of this school... 'Only a few more months to go,' he reminded himself as he stood up and gathered his things. 'This is your last year of high school. Won't have to deal with this bullshit much longer,' he thought.

He fixed his crooked bow tie and smoothed out the creases in his white button down. God damn this uniform.

Harry really hated boarding school, if he were to be completely honest. He didn't even want to go here, his mum forced him into it. He had gone to public school all throughout his life. Things were so different here.

He had only been going to the oh so prestigious Brookside Preparatory Academy for a grand total of (roughly) one month, and it felt like prison. He missed his old friends back home, Ed and Josh. He had no friends here. Well, he had one- his roommate, Niall Horan, an Irish lad who was new to the school as well. He was funny and nice and not full of himself, like everyone else at Brookside. He was the only one at the school that Harry genuinely liked.

It felt like no one really understood him here though, that was the thing. Everyone was so stuck up and snobby and just plain STUPID, not to mention homophobic; Harry couldn't bother with any of them, he didn't want friends like them anyways.

He had Niall, and that was all he needed. Who cares if people thought of him as the weird kid who never talked to anyone? Who cares if everyone treated him like some disgusting foreign creature from outer space? Who cares if no one even came within a five foot radius of him, as if he had some infectious disease?

Harry sighed again. The thing is, he DID care. And that was what frustrated him the most.

You see, Harry Styles was gay, but he didn't think that being homosexual would be thought of as taboo at Brookside. It never had been at his old school back home. He wished his mum never even sent him here anyways. She had said that she thought the public school wasn't enough for him, that he was too bright for it. Yeah, sure, maybe he had received grade averages over 100% in all of his classes, but that wasn't THAT weird...right?
