CLAIRO FIDGETED IN HER SEAT staring at the girl in front of her. "charls, you told me we were hanging out today.." she complained. "yeah, well plans changed. i have to hang out with chase," she replied trying to get her friend to leave. "but you didn't even ask me.." "i shouldn't have to ask!" charli snapped, "friends do shit for each other okay? why can't you be a good friend?" she asked softly. clairo didn't have a response. charli was getting annoyed with her friend complaining and knew she had to go soon or chase would get upset. "chai, we'll hang out later," she patted her back. and just like that, charli had left.
the two girls were supposed to hang out today, but because of chase's small comment charli decided to blow clairo off.
clairo sat confused, but mostly angry. she couldn't figure out what to do with herself. she walked over to her younger sisters room, peeking her head in. "celia?" she questioned before walking in. she spotter her little sister at her bed, probably scrolling through tiktok. "yeah?" she looked up. clairo suddenly felt anxious before mumbling a quick "never mind" and sprinting to her room. before she could think she felt tears streaming down her face. she didn't know when she started crying but she just wanted to be around someone who could comfort her.
that someone was charli. but she was with chase and there really wasn't a way around that factor right now. she did the only thing she could think to do in that moment. navigating through her contacts and immediately finding herself on a contact named 'wifey 💍' and immediatly she sent a message.
