A rumbling sounded the loose sand on the beach beginning to blow upwards, the terrible pinching and stinging of the teeny tiny pieces being smacked against your skin like tiny needles. Everyone covered their heads and rushed parents quickly picked up their ice coolers and towels grabbing onto their kids arms and bolting it back to their cars, amusingly hoping up and down and leaping about like feared elk as the sand nipped them at the back of their legs.
The sky covered up in a dark grey coloured pool the cloud thickening and consumed the sky like a fluffy grey blanket much different than the gorgeous orange and light blue contrast it was before. Thrashing waves thrusted against the sandy beach eating up and swallowing the people floating about in the now monstrous man consuming swamp, the people caught inside letting out dreadful screams, waving their arms around manically as they tried to grab onto something but there was nothing but dingy, salt water.
I had gotten up from a small blanket I had been sitting on and snatched my ukulele and looked towards were the sand was blow up in everyone's faces. The rumbling sounded again and some heavy-footed stomps followed. I looked up a little more glancing to where all the ruckus was coming from. My eyes widened.
