Liv POV
I sat down in the main room, looking glumly down at my plate. No one had felt good after what had happened, especially Kitty. She hadn't touched her cat ears for a whole week. The creepy little bear popped up, and I was the only who even looked up at him. ".........Wow. Is nobody going to do anything?! It's so boring!" it said. No one paid attention but me still. "Fine then, if that's how it is going to be, I guess I'll just have to motivate you! To the second floor!"At this everyone perked up. We only where allowed on the first floor so far, and that was just bedrooms and the two main rooms. I ran ahead of the group and looked towards the unbarred staircase next to the rooms. I ran upwards, and looked out into the new hallway. "Wow..." I heard Shane said as he reached the top, with everyone dragging behind. I started opening doors, and exploring the rooms.
I found a small library, a dusty old closet with 5 chests, a pool, and a living room. There was only one room that I couldn't open, and that door had a sign saying it would only open at midnight. "Now, everyone might have thought Liv was the first up here, correct?" the bear said. Everyone nodded when it said that. "Well then, you'd all be wrong. Two people found a way up here before her, and found some weapons. One of them plans to use those weapons. The other... the other isn't exactly the same."
*le time skip*
I was rummaging alone through the closet hoping to find some clues. Everyone had gone back downstairs to get some rest, and I was supposedly the only one awake. I was walking away from the third chest when I saw a small little booklet of photos. I opened it up, and saw all of us together at a park, sitting in front of a fountain. I got up, and rushed out of the room to go tell the others downstairs. I was just walking around the staircase bend when I heard footsteps behind me. I looked up, and felt something hard hit my head as I blacked out.
