Chapter 5 : Waited

I just melted under his touch , I waited years for this moment . My first kiss , and he was gentle and held me so I wouldn't faint . All of the memories of Nightwing that had gone by in the past have left an imprint on me , I liked Nightwing . We both pulled away breathless, I sighed deeply and looked down to side . "W-we can'-t-t do this , it'll ruin us both ..." his once beautiful smile dropped into a frown . His fingers brushed my cheek , " I can't hold back , you mean a lot to me . Even if you cause my beloved city terror." I held his hand which rested on my cheek. "I can do no good, I was born bad . Nothing changes that ..." he rested his forehead on mine."Maybe I can change you to good." I smiled and pecked his lips. "Maybe..." . We both snapped out of it when we heard things being thrown and smashed beneath our very own feet . We both chuckled lightly , "Looks like dad needs me . " I said smiling at him . "I guess Batman needs me ." we just stared at each other for a moment . "Meet me on top of the Wayne building Friday at 10:56?" he rubbed tithe back of his neck nervously . I kept my smile and nodded , "It's a date ." I stood on my tippy toes to give him a peck on the cheek . But he saw other wise , and made me miss his cheek and kiss his lips. I fake frowned and pouted , "Cheater." I said to him . "Goodbye my beautiful clown." He smiled and dropped back down the building. I saw him disappear from the ledge, I walked over to him smiling at his running shadow . God you sent me a guardian angel,I fell back down to end the fight leaving Batman in my fiery pain . I saw him across trying to get my dad , I quickly grabbed the last ingredient . "Oh daddy ! " I called out he turned around and say me with the last thing we needed . "Sorry to leave on such short notice." He mocked them . "Ta-ta Batman and Robin , take care sidekick ." I smiled genuinely at NW.He smiled back as Harley , dad and I escaped. Oh how NW kept my heart and I had his. I just wish I knew who he really was, not the cocky guy I hated once .
