That son of a Bitch

Y/n’s POV

We zoomed across the track, crashing into the old gates. Me and Zach looked at each other as we laugh and went pink. “Um Zach I would speed up if I were you.” Gray said. I looked into the rear-view mirror and saw Pterodactyls in the sky. “SHIT” me and Zach both swore as he sped up towards the gates. “Open up!” we yelled until the guards saw the flying beasts and opened the gate. When we had made it through the gate, we were met by Zara who looked so pissed, then we ran and ran. I was behind Zach and Gray and pushing through the crowds when suddenly my feat left the ground. I looked up and saw a pterodactyl had grabbed my shoulder. Panicking I screamed at the top of my lungs “ZACH! HELP!” I saw Zach’s head swing round and he jumped to grab my waist and pulled me out of the Beasts grasped. When I landed in the floor, I hugged him very quickly before running away from the crowds. We had gotten level with the Mosasaurs pen when, Zara had just screamed at us for standing still when she got picked up by the Pterodactyls that flew over the open water and dropped her. The three of us froze as we saw the woman get eaten alive by the mosasaurs.

Then we ran for it. We had heard gun shot and our names being yelled. We had spotted Claire and my Dad to the right of us. Suddenly I was being pushed by Zach a little too hard and I turned my head around and saw a massive Pterodactyl zooming towards us. Zach and Gray dived. I was pulled down with them. Zach pulled me into his lap and put his arm over Gray protectively. I closed my arms and when I opened them, I saw that the beak was inches from my face. Slowly we stood up, looking over to where my dad had been, I saw Claire and him kissing. My jaw dropped and I looked at Zach who also looked pissed and Gray was laughing. They broke apart and saw us. Claire ran over to the boys while I belted over to my dad. Jumping into his outstretched arms I let my tears I had been holding in all day burst. “Oh, y/n you okay, Thank God!” Then I heard Zach say, “Who is that?” I looked back at him and slide out of my dad’s arms, walked back to his side, and held his hand. “Umm we work together, and he is y/n’s Dad.” Claire said and I looked back and my dad who was staring at Zach with a glare on his face.

We followed my dad out of the really busy part and made our way out of it. Claire was on the phone to Lowery. “What do you mean Hoskins is using the raptors?” she asked looking at me and my dad. “That son of a bitch!” we both said in unison. “You should say Bitch.” I heard Gray say but I just ignored him. “Get the kids some place safe.” My dad said pushing me toward the Blue jeep. I jumped in then Gray and Zach followed. My dad and Claire got in the front and My dad reversed back into a parking bit. I sat back in my seat sighing. “This does not fell safe.” Zach said, causing me to chuckle. “Can we stay with you?” I heard Gray say. Claire turned around and said. “ I am never letting any of you out of my sight again.” “No, can we Stay with y/n and her dad” Both the boys said. I looked at them and Zach reached his hand across to mine and held it rubbing his thumb across it.
