Sidon POV

Today is the day my new fiancé will arrive! Hopefully he is as excited about our impending marriage as I am. I can still remember the day I came home from my true loves village as clear as his ocean blue eyes...

| Flashback |

As my escorts and I rode home from our very succsessful meeting, my mind kept wandering to that lovely hylian boy with the bright blue eyes, and cornsilk hair, I haven't the faintest idea why but the image of him in a wedding dress made me smile like the sun.

Our arrival was swift, but the journey did give me time to think about something, or more precisely someone.

I walked up the stairs stopping every now and then to greet a passerby, but I was still focused on my mission. Reaching the highest level where my father sat looking into the horizion I stood still for a small moment to contemplate if this was the best course of action. After some time and a lengthy internal battle, I stepped forward and into fathers view.

"Father, I come to make a request regarding the Dinraal tribe" I said as clear and confident as a man whose life was about to change could, "Well it was about time son, I was close to getting Muzu over here to snap you out of whatever haze you were in, but nevermind that what did you wish to speak about?" I took one last shaky breath and told my father my request to have the head warrior of the Dinraal, Link as my future queen.

Thinking back I haven't the faintest idea why I was so worried, of course father was overjoyed to know his child was in love and he was even accepting of the fact that Link was a male, with the stipulation we would adopt a child before he died so he could meet his grandbaby.

Anyway enough with the past, today is the day my new life begins with the man of my dreams. Suddenly I hear the loud thunder of hooves, signaling my soon-to-be husband is here with his entourage. The noise gets louder and louder, so I run down the stairs to make sure everything and everyone is in its place, this meeting must be absolutely perfect if I want to win Links heart.

Just as I finish re-inspecting the town square, Bazz informs me our guests are almost to the end of the great bridge connecting us to the main land. Here it is, the moment I have been waiting for my whole life! If mother could see me now she would be beaming with pride that her child has finally chosen a spouse.

'Okay breathe Sidon, breathe this is only the single most important day of your entire life, so no pressure' My mind was racing a mile a minute, luckily I saw the giant black horse coming my way.

On the beast was my one true love Link, even his name is heavenly; behind him were the two chieftessess and about three to four guards, all dressed in the barbaric clothing of the Dinraal. The mighty black beast stopped merely inches from me, I had to back up quite a ways because the creature reared its front legs and tried to stomp me into the glittering ground of Zora's domain.

By now the dust had settled and I was able to look at the horse more carefully, it had on horrifying dark colored armor, complete with spikes and bones that were almost certainly not from any type of animal. Its rider was no less scary, there sat Link decked in animal furs brown and white, but the truly disturbing piece of clothing was the horned skull atop his blond curls.

After I had stared my fill and was ready to speak, "Hello esteemed members of the Dinraal tribe, it is my great pleasure to welcome you all to Zora's domain" I said in my formal voice, the guards stayed silent but the two chieftessess walked their horses closer and thanked me for my gracious invitation to the domain. While the two gave their prolonged fancy thanks, my eyes wandered to my future bride who sat stoic on his horse, barely glancing my way.

'Perhaps he's nervous about getting married?" I thought, hoping it was not our pairing he was upset about. But in my heart I knew it was not going to be an easy task getting a battle hardened warrior to calm himself away from war, and into the role of queen.

When the chieftessess finished talking they had one of the men step forward and introduce Link, even though I knew his name it was royal tradition to state names and such so the betrothed could maybe start a converstaion on one of the personal topics mentioned, like age or heritage.

While the man talked I had apparently spaces out, because when I came to I realized I had missed my chance to learn about my love.

We had decided it was time for Link and the chieftessess to meet my father. Introductions were made and I saw now as my chance to ask the two women about my bride.

"Hello Lady Zelda and Lady Urbosa, I have come to ask some questions regarding Link" They smiled and told me to sit with them, Urbosa was the first to speak "Now young prince, what questions do you have regarding our son" Link is their son? I had no clue, but I suppose that should be my first question, "Well I was wanting to know some things like age, how he is your son, and if not to much trouble I had hoped one of you could tell me why he looks at me with such disdain"

This time Zelda spoke "Well he is 182 years old in our years, but in your time he would be about 14, he is our son because we adopted him, and he was angry about having an arranged marriage since he had vowed to never marry"

'So my fears were correct, the one who holds my heart doesn't want it'

 | A/N Poor Sidon, but I write like this cause I hate those stories where the protag is only resistent for like 2 chapters before they get all lovey dovey, also does anyone see the Psych reference in the beginning? |
