A new path

Lovino sighed as he unpacked his last box . He has entered a college with multiple programs and majors . He decided to go with the art program since he enjoys painting . He sat down and huffed . The small male was waiting for his boyfriend so they can finally eat dinner . His boyfriend, who was majoring in psychology, was someone who Lovino thought he would never talk to .

Gilbert entered the small room carrying a box . He set it down and wiped his forehead . He looked at his boyfriend and smiled . "All done Lovi !" The man exclaimed while hugging his lover . Gilbert and Lovino has been together since their sophomore year in high school . They graduated together and now go to the same college . Lovino was the first to tell him to live with him in the dorms . Gilbert was surprised but was really happy .

Lovino frowned but looked at him softly . "I know bastard . Now get off, I'm hungry and cranky ." He poked the other . Gilbert laughed and nodded . "Well mein liebe, where do you want to go ? Or we can cook instead ?" He asked . The brunette shook his head . "Pizza with some wine and wings is fine ." He smiled at the other . Gilbert grinned and ordered the food . The two of them sat on the bed as they ate . "Tomorrow we start classes ." Gilbert said as he finished his glass of wine .

"I know . I hate it but I want to be a painter so ." Lovino mumbled as he finished his chicken . Gilbert pulled him close as they laid on the bed . "I believe in you my little tomato ." He mumbled through Lovi's hair . The other smiled and kiss his lovers neck . "Buena notte . Ti amo" he mumbled sleepily . Gilbert smiled and mumbled, "ich liebe dich auch ." As they both fell asleep .

The morning came fast and Gilbert was still asleep . His bird, Gilbird, pecked his head and he groaned . "Gilbird what is it ?" He mumbled . He looked at the clock and sighed . "Lovi didn't wake me up . Now I'm late ." He pouted . He got up and got ready . He ran out his room since he didn't want to be more late for his first class . As he was running, he looked at his watch and cursed . He opened the door and bumped into someone, making them both fall .

"Fuck ." He mumbled . "Watch where your go—" he stopped as he saw it was a girl . The girl looked up him with tears in her eyes . "I'm so sorry ! I was paying attention and I bumped into you ." She said while looking at the man . Gilbert stared at her while feeling his cheeks blush . He hasn't felt this way since he met Lovino . The girl was beautiful . Long black hair with light brown eyes . He thought she was a goddess .

"Please forgive me sir ." She said . Gilbert snapped out of it and shook his head . No, Lovi was his number 1 . "It's alright Frau . I'm sorry I yelled . I'm just late to my class ." He said and extended his hand out . "I hope your okay . My name is Gilbert . What's yours ?" He smiled at her . The girl took his hand and laughed a little . "My name is Sunny . Plain name I know . Also, what are you majoring in ? Maybe I can help you go into the right class ." She smiled brightly at him .

Gilbert smiled widely at her . Sunny huh ? The name suited her . She seems bright . Not to mention beautiful . "Psychology ." He said . "Oh ! That's next to medicine ! I guess we're class roomies !" She laughed . Gilbert blushed at her laugh but chuckled with her . "I guess we are . Were you going there now ?" He asked . Sunny smiled and nodded . She looked down and blushed . "I'm sorry ! I was holding your hand to long ." She said as she pulled away .

Gilbert felt disappointed that she let go . "We can hold hands while walking there . I don't wanna get lost ." He said before he stopped himself . Gilbert mentally smacked himself for not only sounding creepy but probably scaring the girl . Sunny looked at him and giggled . "I don't mind . It's shocking that a handsome man wants to hold hands with someone like me ." She said and took his hand . "Let's go Gilbert ." She smiled at him .

Gilbert held her hand and smiled stupidly . 'Surprising that she said yes' he thought . "Do you have a boyfriend ? " He asked boldly . Not like was interested haha . He just wanted to know for information . Sunny looked at him . "Not really . Men here seem to only want sex . Are you interested ?" She asked laughing . Gilbert smiled bigger . She was single . Great to know .

"Your beautiful . I'm surprised you don't have one . I guess men are dumb ." He chuckled . He stared at her as the walked and felt his heart race . "Ah, thank you ! Your not bad yourself ." She giggled . Gilbert grinned at her but remembered something . Lovino would be upset if he saw him holding hands with this girl . He decided not to tell Lovino about it . "Gilbert ? We're here ." The girl said . Gilbert blinked and smiled at her . "Danke Sun . I appreciate the help ." He said as he looked at her .

Sunny nodded and smiled at him . "It was no problem ! I hope you have a great class . If you like, we can have lunch together ?" She mumbled while looking down . "I would love to liebe ." He said and smiled at her . Sunny smiled more and hugged him . "Okay ! Thank you for accepting !" She said . Gilbert felt his face heat up but hugged back . "No problem . I'll see you there ." He said and pulled away .

Sunny nodded and waved at him as she entered her classroom . Gilbert looked at the spot she was in . He felt sad that she left but knew that they would see each other at lunch . He sighed deeply . How was he suppose to explain this to Lovino ?
