Ariel had felt it. She knew the day would come. Her marriage with Eric had fallen through and with the sea witch gone she was stuck on land with her two legs and nowhere to go. Of course her father had supplied her with a rather weak quirk so she would fit it with the civilian people. Ariel possesses a water quirk which allowed her to pull moisture from out of the air. The redhead, however, had no idea on how to control said quirk and preferred not to use it.

After many weeks Ariel has managed to land herself a small waitressing job. She may be a princess of the sea,however, it did not translate over to the human world. On the land she had nothing but a small dingy apartment and a small wardrobe of common clothes.

Despite her clumsiness she hadn't broken anything yet. To which she was proud of herself.

One Wednesday the cafe was extremely busy. Each seat was taken by university students, many of which caught Ariels sky blue eyes. One of these was a redhead like her and the other was a male with two tone hair.

Ariel, however, found herself gravitating towards the male with ruby red eyes and red hair. She had noticed that the said male had seated himself with a small group of other people.

This group consists of a girl with light pink skin and bushy pink hair, a male with yellow hair with a black,pikachu like bolt in his hair, a male with black, chin length hair and finally an ash blonde with crimson eyes.

After hesitating for a few moments, the sea princess approached the table and smiled.
"Welcome! What can I get for you guys today?" She asked, making eye contact with a few of the table members before tucking her hair behind her ear and looking back at her tablet.

Everyone ordered their food and In the process Ariel had learnt a few of their names. The girl with the pink skin was called Mina, the electric blonde was called Denki and the redhead was called Kirishima.

As she skipped off to pass the order to the kitchen she had felt a few pairs of eye watching her witch made her shudder.

Over at the table Mina had adjusted her pink, leopard print' top before stretching her arms in the air, "Man she was cute. She doesn't sound like she was from around here" she spoke, a sly smile "what'd you guys think?" She added, folding her arms under her ches and leaning on the table.

Denki was the first person who spoke up in agreement with Mina, " I agree with you Mina. She was a cutie" he hummed, curling his fingers into a fist and lying his head on the table. Sero nodded in agreement to Kaminari as his eyes flickered back down to his phone.

Bakugo has scoffed, never looking up from his phone, "she wasn't that cute. Damn cheeks is better" he scowled, aggressively scrolling through his phone.

The only one at the table who hadn't voiced their opinion was Kirishima and he didn't plan on saying anything anyway.

Mina has noticed this and slowly leant into the male "Eijiro come on what do you think of her?" She whined, puffing her cheeks out.

It took a moment for him to speak but when he did he gently pushed Mina off of him and crossed his arms. "I don't think there's any point in judging someone based on looks alone. What about their personality? She could be a really bad person but right now she's at work and has to be nice" he spoke, just finishing his sentence as the food and drinks were arriving at the table.

Ariel places the respective food and drink in front of the person who ordered it. Once she had finished placing the object on the table she clapped her hands together, earning a scowl from Bakugo.

"Enjoy your food guys" she hummed, her ponytail swishing as she walked away to her next table.

Within the hour the group had finished their food and had decided who would pay. Kirishima has volunteered to pay this time. Kirishima slipped out of his seat and approached the till at the front.

Ariel stood at the till as the readhead approached. She felt herself smile uncontiously
"Hey there, you coming to pay?" She asked, earning a hum in response from Kirishima.

Ariel nodded her hair "great, I'll just get that up for you" she hummed, pressing a few button on the screen. "That'll be $23.43" she said, her eyes flicking up to meet kirishimas'.

"Great, could I pay with this?" He asked, holding his card up. Ariel nodded "yep, let me just go get the card machine" she said, shifting down to the charger and grabbing the card machine.

After a few moments she had returned to the cash register "here you go" she hummed,placing the machine down on the counter and pressing a few buttons on the screen.

Kirishima pushes his card into the machine and entered his pin. "I'm Kirishima,by the way" he said, pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket, "text me later if you'd like to" he said.

As the transaction was completed, Ariel passed the receipt to Kirishima and slipped his number into her pocket before she spoke,

"I'll surely text you later"
