Your POV
I read the whole newspaper. "The fire started at 1:12 pm, but the victims were killed sooner than that. There was 18 people already dead by stab wounds and gunshots. The victims were Patty Klemens; the teacher, and students Alice Long, Clair Banklore..." I read with tears in my eyes all of my past classmates names one by one. They were all dead, except for lily. "The only survivor was a student named Lily Miller, she was in hiding while the murders took place and made it out safe, sadly because she was in hiding, she didn't see the killers faces. If you have any information on this case please share what you know, because the case is not yet closed, and the families would like to see their children's killers brought to justice."

I set the newspaper down, undressed, and got in the tub. Lily says they did it, but I don't think they are capable of doing something like this. The paper says that Lily didn't see the killers at all, so maybe other people came in and killed people, but how would Margie and Ellie of gotten out, they never mentioned anything from that day, I only found out today that anything bad happened. Maybe Lily did see who it was and saw it was Margie and Ellie, that explains why she's so convinced about them being the killers. I don't know where to go from this...

"What do I do thunder?" I asked my cat. Thunder gave a quiet meow and walked over to the tub for me to pet her.

I could pretend nothing happened, and go back to normal. I could ask them what happened and investigate. Or I can go out and find Lily, and talk to her about it more. I pondered what I was going to do in the bath.

The next morning I woke up to knocking on my door.
"I'll be down in a few minutes, I have to deal with...stuff." I gave an excuse to them to buy time.

"Ok sweetie, breakfast will be ready in a few minutes!" She said then I heard her footsteps walking away. Ok I know what I am going to do.

Ok, so unlike (y/n) I don't know what to do, I kinda wanted this to be an options thing so leave a comment for what (y/n) should do from the three options and I'll check in 24 hours and do the first one, or the most picked one.
