It's been two weeks since the world martials tournament and the fight between Gohan and Bojack. There was a purple haired teen that goes by the name of Trunks Brief, the son of Prince Vegeta and Bulma Brief.
Trunks: Okay what do I have...senzu beans.... check, capsules that has my spare clothes... check , my sword...check.
He then heard a knock on his door.
Trunks: who is it?
Bulma: it's me Honey, may I come in?
Trunks: oh sure mom, what's up?
Bulma walks into Trunk's room and smiles at him.
Bulma: I just wanted to tell you that I hope you go back to your timeline safely and defeat the androids.
Trunks (smiles): Don't worry mother, once I go back to my original time I will save the Future!
Bulma: good...Now let me prepare the time machine for you.. Later.
Trunks: Later.
Bulma was about to leave until she remembered something.
Bulma: Oh I almost forgot to say that you're father want to talk to you about something in the training room.
Trunks: Okay mother, I will be there in a few.
A few minutes later, Trunks was walking to the training room where his father was. He opened the door to see the Prince of all Saiyans doing push-ups on 350g (Gravity).

Trunks: Hey dad, you wanted to talk to me about something?
Vegeta turns around and looks at his son. He then walks up to the purple- haired teen and tried to punch him. Trunks blocks all of the punches and has a chance to punch Vegeta in the face.
Trunks: geez dad, you could've told me before you start punching me.
Vegeta: tch quit whining, I just wanted to know if you were slacking on your training. I'm impressed you managed to surpass me once again.
Trunks smiled: well yeah I have to get stronger in order to defeat the Androids.
Vegeta held out his hand in front of Trunks.
Vegeta: Goodbye my son...may you have a safe trip back to the Future.
This surprised Trunks, he didn't know that his father would act like that. He then smiled and shook his father's hand.
Trunks: thanks Father, I will Make sure I won't stop training.
Vegeta then nodded, he then grabbed something from his pocket and threw it at Trunks.
Trunks: what's this?
Vegeta: its the new battle armor that your mother made, I just Wanted to give it to you.
