Dear stranger,
I have only lived on this earth for sixteen years and I know life is short.
I have seen abuse. I have seen death. I have seen fear at its worst.
I have only a small and simple family.
A mother, a brother, and a sister. No father in the picture
But my dearest stranger that doesn't matter to us anymore
The past that held us back from succeeding has let go.
After more than a decade
We are peaceful, braver, and stronger than before.
We see little to no darkness in our days anymore.
The screams and the painful cries that my younger siblings and I used to hear are gone.
We live and enjoy life. We don't cower in fear.
We wake up every day, every sunrise to greet the new day.
Not to mourn the day that passed.
For helping me up from the dark pit of depression I thank you
I thank you for your words of advice.
I thank you for hearing me and listening to me when the world turned their backs
My dearest stranger I won't forget you.
I hope you are well
Forever yours,
The girl you saved
