We took a seat at one of the lunch tables and I noticed Lina was sitting alone.

I stood up and went up to her, "Would you like to sit with us?" I asked and she nodded.

I took her with me and all the guys stared her down.

"Who is you?" Beomgyu asked and Lina lowered her head.

"Yah! You are going to scare her!" I said locking eyes with Beomgyu.

"I mean to say, I'm glad to have met such a nice human being." Beomgyu responded and I gave him a face.

"This is Lina!" I said and they all nodded.

"Hi... Yeonjun." She said and Yeonjun looked at her and went back to eating.

The guys started introducing themselves and then they started making jokes.

Then I felt tension and I noticed Beomgyu staring at me without moving.

I looked up and saw someone I really disliked.

Bora got closer to Beomgyu and I could feel how uncomfortable he was.

"What do you want?" I asked, putting down my chopsticks.

"I just wanted to introduce myself to the new students." She said and I laughed slightly.

"Instead of minding our business, go to your boyfriend and leave us alone." I said and I saw Yeonjun smirking a little.

Then she left and Beomgyu gulped and passed me a note.

"I'm scared." He whispered.

I read the note and rolled my eyes.

"But what is the backstory?" Taehyun asked and Yeonjun gulped.

"We will explain it later..." he said and quickly went back to eating.

"Wait. Lina, what group did you join for the MV project?" I asked and she looked down.

"Them... I had no choice." She said and I felt bad.

"Just try to hang in there... if you need anything I'm here." I said and gave her a side hug.

"Okay..." she said, smiling a little.

"Lunch is almost over guys." I said and Soobin dropped his food.

"THERES MORE CLASS AFTER THIS?!" He screamed and everyone looked at us.

I laughed and Yeonjun go close to me.

"You have been smiling a lot more lately." He said and I couldn't look away from his lovely eyes.

Then the bell rung and I quickly got up and went straight to class by myself.

"Why does he need to get so close to me?" I asked myself while hitting my head.

I wasn't looking in front of me and I bumped into a familiar body.

"I'm-" I said but immediately stopped once I saw their face.

I rolled my eyes and continued walking.

Then a hand grabbed me.

"I- I'm sorry Hyunjae." He said and I closed my eyes to calm down.

"Let go." I said and he kept holding me.

"Look, there's nothing to be sorry about, you broke up with me and now you are dating someone else. Now just leave me-" then someone grabbed the arm he was holding and held my hand.

I looked at the hand and knew exactly who it was.

Then he interlocked his fingers with mine and Donghee opened his eyes widely.

"Leave. Her. Alone." He said and took me away, walking me to class.

"You know I had it controlled right? You didn't have-" I said and he stopped walking and looked at me.

"What are friends for?" He asked and I let go of his hand.

"Your hands are sweaty..." I replied and he smiled and walked into class.

Lina's POV
I am so happy to have made my first ever friend but it hurts that the guy I like has feelings for her...

I mean, who would like the quiet shy girl anyways?

I have never learned how to talk to people... I have started to think it's a talent, you are either born with it or not.

Sure, I've always had the most expensive things and I have a big house, but what's the point if I have never had any friends to invite over or hang out with.

Each school day just feels like I'm repeating life over and over again. I don't change, my life doesn't change, nothing changes.

I just daydream about being someone else in class and I've started to become exhausted. I do wish to be someone else but I know that's impossible.

After class was over I started to walk to my house.

I didn't want people to know I'm rich or they would start judging me more.

I was walking with my head low when I bumped into someone.

I immediately apologized but then I looked at the huge man in front of me.

"Oh look who we have here." He said, taking his cigarette from his mouth.

I tried to ignore him and keep walking but he grabbed my bookbag and pushed me back.

"I was starting to feel bored... but now that you are here." He said and started laughing.

I reached towards my pocket but I remembered I didn't bring my spray with me today.

The one time I don't bring it-

Then he grabbed my arm and whispered to me, "If you do as I say, I won't hurt you."

Then he started walking while grabbing my arm and I followed.

Maybe this is for the best. It's not like anyone will miss me if I disappeared.

I kept walking with him and people didn't care or suspect anything.

Then I heard my name being shouted.

"Lina!"

I looked behind and then quickly looked away.

Then he ran in front of me and noticed the guy was grabbing my arm.

"Who is this?" He asked and I bit my lip.

"I'm her dad." He lied and I looked towards the floor.

"Is her your father, Lina?" He asked me seriously.

"Yes."
