Prologue

Michael

I entered Luke's hospital room and the sight of him makes me want to bury myself alive. As I visit Luke everday, it just gets harder and harder than it usually does. I feel my knees shake as I quickly sat down on a chair beside his bedside and held his hand as I stroke his hair.

"Hi, Luke," I chocked and the next thing I knew, tears are now starting to spill down my eyes. "Luke," my voice trembled as I spoke again. "Please wake up, you need to wake up. Please don't leave me. I can't stand seeing you lying on that bed and I'm pretending that you're deep asleep and I wish you could wake up soon."

I sat there, rubbing Luke's hand and stroking his hair as I always do and humming him a song. I have been playing in gigs to earn money at the evening and I have a part-time job in the morning where I work as a crew in McDonald's. Luke used to work at this huge hotel where tons of famous artist stay at and right now, they have a temporary worker to replace Luke and they have heard about the news.

I wish Luke would wake up anytime soon now. I miss him so much and I can't stand being alone in our shared apartment. I kept humming him a song until I fell asleep beside him.

"Race you to my apartment." Ashton yelled. Good thing it was 1 block away from where we are now. He bent down and pulled my pants down which caused me to curse out at him and I chase after him. While chasing Ashton, I was pulling my pants but I'm finding it hard to do so since I am running and pulling it at the same time which is hard.

"Ashton!" I yelled as he shut the door of his apartment and I knocked and knocked until my hand sore.

"Look down!" I heard him yelled through the other side of the door and I looked down and tried to catch his fingers and I caught it and the next thing I knew, someone coughed behind me and I let go of Ashton's fingers and stood up properly and face the one behind me. "Oh," I pulled my pants up so it covered my ass now.

"Someone has a nice ass." the boy with a black hair, tan skin, remarked as he smirked at me and I flushed. I noticed the boy he is with, the blond haired lad that has blue eyes that had caught my eye.

"That was embarrassing." I muttered as the door flew open to reveal giggling Ashton.

"Oh hey Calum, Luke, didn't know you two would be here." Ashton said as he gave them a brotherly hug but I was stuck at staring at the blond one. His gazes met mine and I shake my head as I looked at Ashton and smack him in the head. "Ow!"

"That's for pulling my pants down," I started and punched him in the arm as he winced in pain. "And that's for making me embarrass, right in front of your other friends."

"Aw, come on, Michael," he whined as he hugged me sideways. "It was just for fun─"

"It obviously wasn't fun." I scoffed as he pulled a pouty lips on me and bat his eyes. "Whatever, your visitors are waiting at the door just watching us like statues."

"Come on in," Ashton said as he untangled himself off me and let us enter. "So, Michael, this is Calum and this is Luke." Ashton winked at me after he introduced Luke to me and I rolled my eyes as Luke awkwardly waved at me.

He is just cute as I thought he would be. I waved back as Calum pushed Luke onto me and Luke stumbled over to me as we both fell hard to the ground and to be honest, everything felt slow. Everything around me was in slow motion. Luke looked up to me as he slowly got off me and helped me up.

"I'm sorry, Calum's just a douche for doing that." Luke apologizes for his friend as I smiled and dust off myself.

"It's fine, I know how it feels everyday with Ashton." I stated as he chuckled. "Ashton and Calum would be perfect together if they were both gay─" as soon as I said gay, he shifted uncomfortably on his standing position. "─um, yeah, nevermind."

"No, I agree with you to be honest." Luke smiled. "But I'm afraid each of them has their own boyfriends."

I sighed, "I know. But wait for it, they'll end up soon together." I smirked at the sight of Calum and Ashton who was laughing and giggling.

"Want have a bet on it, Michael?" He asked as he looked at my eyes and I stared back at those blue eyes that I barely see in everyday of my life.

I smiled and reach out my hand to his, "Hundred bucks if they get together. Deal?"

"Deal."

We shook our hands and quickly let go when we heard a loud 'thud' and saw the two piled on the floor. And we both laughed and joined the two in goofing off.

The day didn't turned out that bad, it turned out pretty cool, least expected but I found myself comfortable with the other two. And it turns out that they were pretty funny and fun to hang out with. Ashton and Calum were pretty the same in pulling out jokes and to be honest the one that is making us laugh is Ashton's laugh. Their jokes may be lame at times but that's the best about having friends, even though they're lame, you'll still find yourself laughing at them.

Luke and I kept talking about ourselves and I found out he has a girlfriend and I didn't know that I am having a crush on him now. And I guess it hurt a little when he told me he has a girlfriend.

[A/N] So hey gois I decided to post the prologue now and this is probably more of a flashback. Just to clear things up, in every chapter is change of POVs, Luke will be probably next one to have his POV ;)
