Chapter 2

Michael

I need to clear things in my head, I had left Luke alone and I don't know whether to come back right away or not. I'm hesitating, I just can't watch Luke lying on that hospital bed everyday, seeing him in his deep sleep. I don't even know if he can hear me, but all I know he is there.

I ran into someone and I apologized quickly, "Michael?" I heard the girl asked, I looked up to see my old friend, Lala. "What are you doing here? Where's Luke?"

Oh yeah, she didn't know anything that's happening lately. I tried to keep myself steady, not breaking down in front of her. "H-he's f-fine." I stammered as she frowned and sighed.

"Michael, you don't look like you're fine and I know neither does Luke. What happened between you two? Have you two fought?" she asked as she hugged me and I shake my head, hugging her back. "Nothing serious happened, right?"

"He's in comatose, Lala." I cried harder on her shoulder. "I'm sorry, I-I mean─"

"Don't be sorry, Michael. I know it wasn't your fault in the first place─"

"No," I pulled away from our hugs. "Luke and I fought, I called him and then our conversation got heated and then the next thing I knew we were screaming at each other on the phone and then he hung up and later that night, I found out he was hit by a truck."

Lala frowned and pulled me on our way back to the hospital as I shake my head. "Michael, Luke needs you. You need to motivate him to wake up soon, you don't have to give up, Michael. Give up when everything is over." Lala explained. "You don't have to give up, just yet."

"I can't just visit Luke everday when I know he wouldn't respond! You know that is pretty hard and I am trying so hard everyday!" I whimpered as we reached Luke's room.

"Hey, Luke," Lala greeted as she sat down on a chair beside Luke. "I know you can hear us, but you really need to wake up soon. Michael can't stand seeing you lying in that bed. He misses you so much, Michael is so miserable without you, and could you pretty please, fight for him, for your family, for everyone?"

"Luke," my voice croaked. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have fought with you back then. I'm really sorry but please could you wake up now? I'm dying everyday."

"Oh Michael!" Ashton sang as he barged into my room. "What do we have in plan?"

I shrugged, throwing my phone on my side. "I don't know, don't you have Calum to go out on a date with?" I asked. "I mean─you know?"

"Shut up, Calum has something to ran errands with Luke. And speaking of Luke, how are you two?" he wiggled his eyebrows at me as I playfully scoffed.

"As what you said, Ashton─he's out with Calum, making errands." I said as he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes. "What?"

Ashton shrugged, "I don't know. You and Luke better together."

"Not as better as you and Calum looks like."

Ashton hit me with a pillow and I grunt in pain as I hit him back with my pillow and we started to pillow fight. And then we stopped when my phone beeped and I hurriedly grabbed it and saw a text from Luke saying, they would be going to my place along with Calum.

And my smile didn't went away that day.
