Runners:Sniper Stars

     I walk up into my room. As I turn the knob and opened the door, I step in and close it behind me. I take a look around, my room contains a few bits and bobs from missions and what not. Displayed In a special case, are my old gauntlets, red and black, just how I remember them. I sigh. Next to the case is a small container with my old earpiece inside. Still gray and how I remember it. I take my satchel, my goggles, my earpiece, and place them neatly in my equipment cabinet. As for my scarf, I simply place it on my desk.

After a few moments of sitting on my bed, I get a knock on my door. "Hey uhh Clover?" The Runner in Blue speaks through it. "Archon's here..." "Be right there!" I sigh. I stand up and walk over to my door, I open it Hazey Standing right beside me. She then follows me as I walk into the Main area. I'm greeted by Archon, who seems to be patently waiting, admiring the city through the window. "You called?" I say in order to get his attention. He turns to me, his arms crossed. "Ah." "To get straight to the point, 1-1." "Later on today at around 16:00"
"I need you to take down a large group of Union Soldiers, near the main Radio tower, the same Radio tower we use for our communications." "That's why I'm here." "The... Tower is seized and is being used by them. Expect armoured." Hazey looks at me and I look at her back. Then, I gaze into Archon's eyes. The man has an aura of power coming from him, even so, high ranking runners usually call him Archon, and address him casually. Which is a little bit strange, but.. oh well.
I mention the fact that there's armoured, I can slice through any bit of Union armour, just as much as the rest of my team. But as the High ranking runners say, 'If there's tanks, trucks, or ships, there's a helluva lot of Union soldiers.'  and I'm willing to bet they're going to be shooting at us.
"Archon, shouldn't we be accompanied by another Team?" I ask. Archon takes his hand and puts his forearm infront of him, pulling down on his gloves, tightening their grip on his hands. "You will be accompanied by two marksmen from the SSS, Reaktor Seven-zero-zero and A- Double U Pink."
"Just them?" "Correct, you'll be in command of both of them." "I expect the upmost of performance from your team, 1-1." "Good luck." Archon begins walking out of the room. I try to stop him before he goes out the door. "Hey wait!" Archon pauses. And turns around to face me. "Are we allowed to use the weapons we confiscated?" I ask, referring to the gear my team stole from a large warehouse near the "Crest Zone"
"I will allow it." He replies, before opening the door and stepping outside, closing the door as he does so.
I audibly sigh. If they're going on a mission with us they're going to have to maneuver around the city terrain. The radio tower's position is well in my head, it's in the center of the Verizon District, an area often patrolled by Union Soldiers and Elites alike. We try to avoid that area, but now here we are, taking up a mission to go straight into it. I dont have much of a good feeling about this, though... We've been there before, often we're at the very edge of it, though it's different this time. We no longer have communications, so ear pieces are useless. I turn to Hazey, who's stood behind me, leaning against a wall. "I'm going to go... Get Pink and Reaktor." She nods. "Mmkay... I'll brief the others." She turns and walks into the hallway, that connects our rooms. As for me, I head off towards the SSS' team room.

I stand infront of their door for a moment. Then I knock. A few moments and a few foot steps heard through the door later, the door opens, followed by one of the members of the SSS. Though I don't remember their name. "Uh.." they just simply say at my arrival, looking at me funny.  I think this is the one they called NonSi? I'm not sure. "A-ah hey Nonsi...?" "It's SteyrStrut dude." the marksman infront of me smiles slightly. Well I'm an idiot, I really need to get to know these guys more.  "Oh sorry..." "I'm uh looking for Reaktor and AWPink." A short second of silence later, he Steyr replies shot replies. "Ah those two" he pauses, then makes air quotes with his fingers "lovebirds" "They're at the gun range." With this new information, I thank him and begin walking off. "Uh thanks." Though I'm stopped. "Hey wait." "You're uhm" "Whaddya need them for?" I turn to face SteyrStrut, leaning out of the doorway. "Archon visited right?" He rubs his chin with his finger. "Hmm.. no?" "(Son of a gun..)" i say under my breath "What was that?" "Oh nothing, we're off to a mission Archon gave us, so I'm headed out to find them." "Why would Archon Leave us out of it?" I smile a little. "Archon's orders." "Some guy in red told us that." I look off to my left. "Well it's Archon." "Ah, a'ight.. just don't get killed out there will ya?" He smiles then closes the door, while waving goodbye. I begin walking down the hallway to the stairs.
