The team was sitting in their usual spot at the diner. After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Fred practically jumped out of his seat,
"There's a huge mansion on the market for free!" Within milliseconds the whole gang was jumping to look at the paper. Once Shaggy made his way over, he noticed he recognized the mansion, it was his. Not legally, of course. It had belonged to his great uncle Shagworthy who gifted it to him, not on paper of course. Legally, the mansion had belonged to his great aunt Margery who, of course, doesn't exist. Shaggy sighed, no one could know.
The Scooby gang had made it to the mansion within a few days' time, needing to get whatever they had together. Once they arrived they all realized the mansion looked much bigger in real life compared to the photo. A voice from within shouted that the door was open and to come in. Fred and Daphne quickly raced inside, Velma was a bit more cautious but quickly followed. The only two left were Scoobert and Shaggy. Scoobert looked at Shaggy knowingly,
"Ruh roh." Scoobert sighed. Shaggy shakily walked in through the front door. The Scooby gang was met by an elderly man, a bit taller than Shaggy. He greeted the 4 teens (and one dog) before stating they had to stay the night in the house before deciding to keep it. As everyone went up to their rooms the man grabbed Shaggy and pulled him to the side.
"It's under the fourth floorboard on your way into the room." Shaggy knew what he had to do.
A few hours into the night, everyone was asleep. Shaggy tip toed over to the floorboard and popped the panel up. There had to have been at least $10,000 dollars in there. He grabbed his suitcase and began stuffing the money inside.
"Zoinks, this way I can afford all of those sandwiches without all of that tax..." he mumbled to himself. While in the middle of stuffing the cash in his suitcase, he heard a creek behind him. He whipped around only to be met by Fred.
