"What is this, Shaggy?" Fred sounded heartbroken. Shaggy felt a twinge of guilt in his stomach.

"Like, I had to do it Fred." Shaggy replied, anger toning in his voice. Shaggy wasn't sure if the anger was directed at Fred, or himself. Shaggy looked away and started stuffing the suitcase more, it was either him, or the impending debt of all of the sandwiches he ate. After a minute, Shaggy felt Fred's presence leave. Shaggy heard the creek of the floorboards as multiple people entered the room.

"Jinkies."

"Creepers."

"Ruh roh..."

Shaggy spun around to see that the whole scooby gang had entered the room.

"Zoinks..." Shaggy mumbled. He sighed before getting up and sitting on the bed. It was too late to go back now. The gang sat on the opposite bed.

Shaggy began to speak, "Like, It all started about a year ago when we first started all of this. I had never paid for any of those sandwiches I ate and I began to go into extreme debt after about a month."

"You could have told us." Daphne stated, comfortingly. Shaggy just shook his head and continued.

"Like, I didn't know what to do so I began staging all of the mystery's that we have been solving. Like, every single one. Since we got them in jail, I'd get a bit of money from it and would use the money to pay for the sandwich debt, but it was never enough. So I had to keep staging more, and more, and well, now we're here." The gang didn't know what to say. Shaggy looked up to see Fred was gone. Suddenly he felt someone come up behind him.

"You have to turn yourself in, Shaggy." The scooby gang nodded, even Scoobert, his closest friend, agreed. Shaggy jumped up

"Like, no!" Shaggy began running, he had to hide somewhere in the mansion, anywhere. He couldn't go to jail, not without tasting every sandwich combination possible. Shaggy ended up hiding in what looked like a broom closet, since he was the fastest man alive, he knew it would take them a while to catch up. From across the mansion he heard Fred yell

"Let's split up, gang!" Shaggy missed being a part of that. Now he was the thing they were hunting. Shaggy sighed, this was all too much, he put his head against the wall, pulling an emergency sandwich out of his pocket and eating it. After he finished the sandwich he realized he was just too tired to keep running, Shaggy felt his eyelids grow heavier, and heavier, until he passed out.

When Shaggy woke up he saw that he had been tied to a wooden chair with a rope, his friends surrounding him.

"Looks like we solved another mystery gang!" Daphne cheered and hugged Fred. Velma just crossed her arms and looked over at someone in the place of where shaggy usually was. Shaggy, still tired, began to squint at the figure and realized it was in fact his son, Shaggy Rogers, Jr. The darker haired individual shouted

"Zoinks!" before running off with Scoobert. Shaggy knew he had been replaced, but it was ok, it was his time. Even as he was all alone in the mansion, as he saw the blue and red flashing of sirens, he felt at peace. He knew, deep down, he would eat another sandwich again, free of tax.
