Jasper

I figured that while you are away that I would write to you, all my thoughts and feelings, no matter how much I think they are insignificant, because you once told me that you loved hearing about everything I felt and though.

The day I moved into town, I thought that I would hate living there, that i would feel i didn't belong. It was somewhere gloomy and sad looking, at the time I felt that Forks reflected my emotions perfectly, the sky somehow looked exactly like I felt. You changed that though. You made me feel like i finally belong somewhere. It wasn't always like that, when we first met I had a feeling you hated me, you had such a pain laced face when you saw me. I didn't like that feeling and the look on your face, so I decided then and there that maybe I should keep my distance if that was how I made you feel. I didn't want to cause you any upset.

Gradually, I felt we grew on each other, first we began to engage in small talk, it was quickly becoming my favourite part of school, engaging with you about anything we could think of. Talking about our favourite subjects or favourite movies, colours and sports.

It wasn't until I found out your secret, that everything changed. Whether for better or worse, I don't know yet.

With all my love,

Valentina Hope
