Chapter Two

The first night after marriage is always exciting and nerve-racking. However, for Jungkook this marriage was nothing but a business deal where his parents wanted him to marry the daughter of one of the richest competitor Kim- 

And it happened when they all agreed and carried on with the deal. Jungkook didn't mind since he never had a love life expect for the love for his work. He would stay hours and hours in his office trying to assemble all the deals and projects. 

So when his father put forward the proposal for marriage with Kim's daughter- he said yes in a blink of an eye. 

Mr Jeon was proud of his own son. Because now they had secured everything- their position as being the richest and strongest company in whole Asia, their deals, but there was one thing that no one knew about- 

And that was that Kim Mina can never become a mother. The Kims knew about it but never told anyone. It was because they didn't wanted this golden moment to slip away from their hands.

But they didn't know that this one lie will cause damage to many hearts.

The sun was out. Birds were chirping outside declaring that the morning has come. The black silky sheets moved from his bare shoulder as he tried to find a comfortable place. However, when he moved to the left he felt another person by his side. 

His eyes went wide instantly. Looking at the face of her now wife- he sighed. He can't remember what happened last night but he can imagine it. Both of them were bare under the blanket. 

Jungkook groaned in pain as he held onto his head. 'Why did I drink too much?' 

Throwing the blanket to the side, he moved to find his clothes. 

All this shuffling, caused Mina to wake up from her slumber. Her eyes still sleepy and tired from last night. Her hands holding onto the blanket to cover her chest as she looked at her husband.

"What happened?" she spoke making Jungkook halt. His eyes on the girl. 

"Nothing. Forgot I have a big deal to make today." Saying that he walked inside the bathroom. His hands ruffling his hair before he locked the door. 

This was how he always acted. Cold and to the point. Mina knew that this marriage will contain no love. But she hoped he would change after marriage. 

However, after last night. She doesn't think that can happen. He came in drunk. Just because he couldn't have sex with her while being conscious. She hated how she was being treated but she couldn't do anything. 

She had more things to worry about. Like how she is going to inform them when she will not be able to give birth to the future heir of Jeons.

Same Day

"I don't know what you are saying but I don't think that is true." Mr Kim spoke while looking around the room. As if his truth wasn't in front of everyone. 

"Really? Well then explain this Mr Kim." Mr jeon threw the file on the table. His eyes on the old man- 

Mr Kim was speechless looking at the documents in front of him which had the medical history of his daughter. "I-I can explain." 

"No need Mr Kim. I must say I am disappointed you hid this from me." Mr Jeon shook his head before he snatched the file. His hand on the phone now as he called his secretary inside the room. 

"Did you call me sir?" 

The girl smiled before pushing her glasses up with her knuckles. 

"Yes, please call my son and also inform Mr Jae to see me too." 

Mr Kim stared at his opposer with confusion. He didn't know what was going on. He was scared but he was also aware that Mr Jeon can not kick his daughter out like that. Because if he did then the people would think of him as a money maker. Trying to tie knot to get the deals 'which he was'. 

"What is this about?" Mr Kim finally spoke when the seceratory was out the door doing what she was told to do. 

"Don't try to act smart. Even you know that I can't kick your daughter out now. So I have to make another plan to get my family an heir. You know I can do anything If it involves the future of my business." 

Mr Kim nodded. Satisfied.

"-But that does not mean you won't face any consequences. I am taking the deal of Honkong Mall bar from you Mr Kim."

"Miss Y/n!" The nurse who has been taking care of your mother ran towards your sitting form. You looked at the women with your tired eyes. Her expression didn't seem as If she was going to give a happy news. You stood up before walking closer to her. 

"Mrs Jae- "

"What about her? What happened ?"

"The doctors stopped her treatment. They stopped the surgery." Your eyes went wide in surprise. Why!? 

"What happened??!!" The nurse shook her head as she tried to form words. "Someone from high authority called. The doctors were told to stop the surgery and-"

She stopped before taking a phone out of her pocket. With confused you looked at her. The information was too much to digest. Why the fuck would they stop the surgery. You made an agreement that you would pay the money! Why would they stop!! When they were okay with that before. 

"There number is here. Just call on that number and see what they want."

You took the phone. Well you won't know anything until you call. Your mother is inside ready to have her surgery but they are not doing it because of some someone? 

Calling the number which was already dialled- you looked at the nurse. Who looked at you with sympathy before walking away. 

The phone rang for few minutes before the other line picked it up. 

"H-Hello?"

Your voice stuttered. Not knowing what was happening. Wanting answers. 

"Oh! Look who called. My so called daughter!" 

Your eyes widened in shock. The voice so familiar to you giving you goosebumps. But then it struck you. It was Mrs Jae's husband. You supposed to be father.
