~Your POV~

Tears were streaming down your furry cheeks as you kneeled beside your parent's disintegrating bodies. Before long, they were two piles of dust starting to blow away in the wind. Quickly, as not to lose them entirely, you grabbed 2 jars from your bag and scooped up their remains, planning to give them a proper funeral and burial later. As you put their jars in your bag, you looked about at your demolished and dying AU, you grabbed your mother's golden heart locket and your father's blue scarf, the only things that had been left behind when they had died. You put on the locket and the scarf as you stood up, looking for a way out of your dying AU when you spotted a group of skeletons exiting through a portal, it just so happened to be the same skeletons who destroyed your home, but what choice did you have? You ran up and grabbed the tentacled skeleton's hand as he was about to leave, he looked like the leader of the group and was the last one going through the portal.

"Please... Take me with you..." You pleaded, breathing a bit heavily from sprinting over there to catch him before he was gone.

"And why should I?" The skeleton hissed as he turned his blue gaze to you, pulling his hand from your grasp.

"B-because... I-I'll do anything.. Anything you want me to do I'll do it.." You reply softly, looking down.

"Anything?~" The black, slimy, tentacled skeleton asks with a bit of a mischievous smirk as he looks you up and down.

"A-anything..." You reply shakily as a light blush creeps up your face from the way he looks at you combined with that mischievous smirk.

The tentacled skeleton seems to ponder a moment before looking back at you with another mischievous smirk, "Alright, you can come with me, but on one condition..."

"What is the condition?" You ask curiously, looking up at him with a bit of a hopeful expression.

"You join my team of skeletons... For life." He replies with that same mischievous smirk.

"O-ok..." You reply softly, averting your gaze from his again.

The tentacled skeleton grabs your wrist with one of the 4 tentacles that protrudes from his back, leading you through the portal.

You look back at the world you once knew, completely and utterly gone. Well there's no going back now... You thought to yourself and nearly started crying as you remembered all the great times you had in your peaceful AU, it was all gone now... Everything... Gone... You turned your gaze back to the room you were in as the portal closed. You were now in a large living room with 3... no 4 couches, a large tv, and a very nice looking old style of rug that was in the center of the room. You look over at the kitchen, which was only separated from the living room by the large island. There was a nice black fridge, a microwave up above the fridge, dark wood cupboards, a very clean black stove, and 2 black-rimmed sinks. The countertops looked to be made of polished black marble and you noticed that there were no lights in the castle and it was fairly dark. You could only see the dark entryway to the hallway, anything past that was shroud in darkness and you couldn't see any further than that. I'll go exploring later. You told yourself as you turned your gaze to the group of skeletons before you.

"Here's our entire gang. Error, Killer, Horror, Cross, Dust, and then you have me, Nightmare." The tentacled skeleton introduced you to the other skeletons along with introducing himself. As he mentioned their names, each skeleton stood. Error was a skeleton who had black bones, and blue strings that led down his cheeks from his red-shadowed eye sockets. He had one white eye and his other eye was quite strange, it was yellow with a blue center. His body had a lot of glitches in it and he had many ERROR signs dotted over his figure. His skeletal fingers were red at the base and switched to a yellow color about halfway up.

Killer was a skeleton with white bones, some sort of black substance that dripped from his pitch-black eye sockets. He had a red target-like symbol on his chest and he was sharpening a knife when Nightmare called his name. He wore a blue jacket with yellowish-tan fur that rimmed the hood, with a black shirt underneath, he also wore white sweat shorts with a black stripe that ran down the center of the sides. Horror was a skeleton with white bones, a gaping hole in his skull, a single red eye glowing in the blackness of his eye sockets. He wore a blue jacket with grey fur that rimmed the hood, along with black sweat shorts that had a white stripe along the center of the sides. He was messing with an ax when Nightmare called his name. When Horror turned his gaze up to you a mischievous smile spread across his face as he looked you up and down and you could've sworn he licked his lips but it was hard to tell in the darkness of the castle so you shrugged it off as your mind playing tricks on you.

Cross was a skeleton with white bones, a red eye, a white eye, and a red lightning mark across his right cheek. He wore a black and white short sleeve jacket with white fur that rimmed the hood, a dark grey shirt, a golden heart locket, and black shorts with cross stripes on the sides. Dust was a skeleton with white bones, a red eye, and a red eye with a blue center. He wore a blue jacket with a grey hood and black shorts with a white stripe down the center. Nightmare, the leader of the gang, was a skeleton with black bones that seemed to be dripping with... ink? He had four tentacles that protrude from his back and the ink-like substance dropped down to cover one of his eye sockets completely. His other eye socket had a neon blue eye that glowed through it. His clothing was covered so much in the ink substance that they were the same color as he was.

"I'm (Y/N)... (Y/N) (L/N)..." You introduced yourself with a small, shy wave as your (H/C) fox tail curled shyly around your legs.

"Welcome to the team (Y/N). Error, I'm tasking you with showing (Y/N) here to her room." Nightmare released your hand and went down one of the hallways, presumably to his room. Error nodded to Nightmare and led you down another hallway and to your room.

"Thank you Error." You said softly with a small smile.

"YoU'rE wElCoMe." Error replied softly before heading off to his room.

You closed your door and started unpacking your clothes and other things that could stay here from your bag, putting the remains of your parents in the drawer of your nightstand, figuring that you could find a nice place to bury them tomorrow. You changed into your pajamas and curled up in the blanket on the bed, quietly doodling in your sketchbook before you went to bed.
