general pov:

Summer was over and it was the last days of fun for the Pogues, Pope and JJ were very sad, not only because of going back to school but because of the death of their best friend last month, they were going to be together at school and they could support between them but Kiara was going to be alone in her private school among Kooks, she lost her only friend there and she could not see JJ and Pope as much as she did before, only in the afternoon.

the three friends had beers while they remembered the best moments of the holidays, Kiara was going to miss the boys very much and they her, they never admitted it but they were all crazy about her, but because of the tegla they had imposed they could not be anything more than friends.

JJ pov:

He wanted to talk to Kiara alone, he had saved for a long time to buy her a gift for her first day at school, but he did not want to give it to her in front of Pope, since they kissed Pope was chasing Kiara much more than before and she rejected him. Now if I give her a gift, he may be jealous, although he shouldn't, because I don't love her, right?

-Hey Kie, wanna go look for more beers?-

-Um, yeah. Help me get up.- she said while she raised her hand.
When my finger touch hers I just fell this electricity coming up my body, I have never felt this way. I always liked Kie, but this time is different. I'll realized that I was looking at her for minutes so I helped her to get up and looked away trying to hide the blush.

We walked till we couldn't see the boat so I stoped and she looked at me weird.

-What are you doing?- she said
-Well, I wanted to give you something before you go to your school and we go to ours. It's nothing, just something to remember me... us!- she looked at like she was surprised.
-JJ? Are you being considered?- she said laughing.
-hey, do you want it or not?-
-yes, I'm joking.- I give her a little bag and she opened it very carefully. When she opened it I could see a big smile on her face.
-JJ, this is gorgeous! How did you pay for it?- it was a silver necklace with a wave hanging from it.
-Just saving some money and that's it.-
-this must cost you a fortune, and I don't have anything for you!- she looked worried.
-Don't worry Kie, it was just a stupid thing to do.-
-no, it wasn't. It's beautiful.- she hugged me and I was in shock, slowly I put my arms on her waist and hugged her as well.
-I'm going to miss you JJ.-
