Proverbs 4:23-24 (NLT)
[23] Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.*
The heart is the center of your operation. What is allowed in it determines how you will act and what you will do.
[24] Avoid all perverse talk; stay far from corrupt speech.
The key to what enters your heart is in our speech, what we say, what we meditate on, what we spend time reciting. Psalms 119:11 (NLT)
[11] I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
