"Ugh... Mina noooo" You whined to your best friend who was trying to make you confess to your crush of 6 years, eunwoo.
"You, confess to him or I'm the one who's gonna tell him." She sternly said, standing by her words.
"But- what if he rejects me! I don't wanna ruin our friendship!" You pleaded to her hoping it'll work.
"But it's better to let him know Y/N... You can't just keep it inside your heart for so long. Don't you think it'll just heart you more if he finds a girlfriend and introduces her to you? If he rejects you, which I doubt, you could maybe move on." Concerned, she tried to convince you.
Honestly, it did hurt you whenever he would get a new girlfriend and introduce her to you. You guys were best friends since forever and you didn't want to ruin what you had. You sighed as you slightly nodded giving her the hint that you were gonna confess.
"Fine..." You mumbled quitely but loud enough for her to hear. She smiled at you and patted your back. "It'll be just fine..." She said as you hurried your face into your hands worried that this might ruin your friendship with eunwoo and also make you embarassed in front of the whole school.
You were sitting on your bed, thinking about how you would confess to him. 'Should I ask him to meet up at our spot? Should I just confess to him at school? No no... not at school. Aishh what am I supposed to do now?!' you ruffled your hair feeling frustrated. You were deep in your thoughts when your brother, Jimin called you for dinner. "Y/N!! Mom said dinner is ready!" You heard him shout. "Coming!!" You shouted back to which is hummed loud enough for you to hear. 'for now, I think I should just try to relax and I'll just call Mina after dinner' you thought to yourself and nodded before making your way downstairs to have your dinner.
At dinner, you didn't really eat. You either picked on your food for a while or brought it up to your mouth to drop it again. You couldn't help but think about how you would confess to him. "Y/N? Is everything okay?" Your mom asked sounding concerned. You darted your eyes towards her, "Yea mom everything's fine. You know... It's just exam stress." You replied still picking at your food. You mom nodded but was still unsure if it's just because of exam or something else. You sighed and got up "I'm done. Good night mom, good night dad, and good night Jimin." You said as you passed each of them a small smile. They returned the smile and you walked to your room, plopping in your bed. 'Should I really ask Mina? But I'm sure she won't give me any useful advice. Ugh.. I'll just sleep for now and ask him to meet me at our spot... That should be fine right?' you asked yourself desperately trying to convince your mind that you will confess to him.
<Hey eunwoo, meet me at our spot tomorrow at 4? I have something important to tell you. Good night~]
You didn't have to wait long for him to reply.
<Alright cutie. You should sleep now~ g'night. ]
You couldn't help but let out a small smile. After that, you instantly fell asleep without waiting a second.
It was morning now and you were getting ready for your school. You finished your routine and went downstairs wearing a simple outfit, a white T-shirt tucked inside your dark blue jeans with a pair black canvas shoes. "Good morning honey~" your dad said as he folded the newspaper he was reading to put it on the table. "Good morning dad." You replied as you went over to your mom who was making your breakfast. "Umm~ smells delicious." You said as you smiled to your mother. She returned the smile but again focused on the pancakes she was making to make sure they weren't burnt. "Good morning my pumpkin~" your brother said as he came in for a hug. You used to fingers to slightly push him off you while making a disgusted face.
"Oh come on!" He whined and pouted like a baby. You shook your head and went over to take a sit. Your mother served breakfast and you guys started digging in.
"Hey Y/N!" You turned around to see Mina coming towards you with a big fat smirk plasted across her face. "So when are you going to confess?" She nudged your elbow. "Shut up Mina" you said jerking her off of you as you tried to hide your blushing cheeks by acting mad. "Oh look who's blushing~" she teased you as you glared at her. "Hi Y/N!" You looked around to see eunwoo waving at you while flashing a big smile. You smiled, waving back at him. His friends then pulled him towards the caféteria. Your cheeks turned a darker shade of red just by waving at him. "Oh you're hopeless Y/N." Mina said as she disapprovingly shook her head.
The school had ended and you were now walking out towards the gate alongside Mina. "Oh look who's waiting for you~" Mina cooed as you looked at her direction. You saw eunwoo standing there with his AirPods plugged in and his hands inside his pockets as he leaned backwards on the wall beside the gate. He looked around and saw you, he smiled at you and signed you to come towards him. "Byee Y/N, hwaiting!~" Mina whispered, and went away leaving you alone.
You ran towards him and stood in front of him. "Hey.. were you waiting for me?" You asked still smiling. He scratched the back of his neck, and replied with "Yeah um... Since you wanted to meet at 4, I thought it'd be better if I just waited for you after school so that we could meet up a bit earlier...?" Eunwoo replied trying to find the right words. You looked down trying to hide your cheeks. "Let's go~" eunwoo said as he held your hands and started walking.
You both stopped at your favourite coffee shop, which was your 'spot'. It was an old and aesthetically pleasing shop. It was run by a auntie, who now became a granny. You and him always came here together since the day he became your neighbour, so you could say that the granny saw you guys growing up. You both are very close to her and think of her as your own grandmother. You were drinking your Iced americano, when you saw eunwoo texting on his phone. You coughed trying to grab his attention.
"So Y/N... What were you gonna tell me?" Eunwoo said as he leaned across the table placing resting his face on his elbows.
