HEY! Today I prepared something new for you. I thought that it would be fun to recreate some of my popular book covers. With "popular" I mean the covers that had over 30 favorites on my DeviantArt page. If you don't follow me there, you should!! I post there actually more than here in my graphic portfolio.

Why did I decide to recreate my covers? I wanted to see if I improved or if I am worse at graphics than before. Nah, I don't really know. So you decide which version do you like more!

To be honest I still like the original version because it has that dark feeling. I don't know how to describe it but I hope you know what I meant.
The newer version is the most similar to my actual graphic style. I like to paint over the faces to make their skin smooth and painting like. I learned that I don't need to use Topaz Clean or Oil paint to achieve this kind of effect. Also, I decided to bring more stories to this concept.

This cover was actually for the cover contest but the author deleted it? I am not sure. But it was really nice to make dark covers again. I am used to making superhero themed or bright covers.
I am not trying to flex or something but the face of Scarlett is fully painted. The hair as well.
