Saving the skater

Chapter 16

***** Sophie's pov *****

The next morning I woke up on the sofa with Isaac, Ayden and Charlie on the floor. The three of them were spooning while Lucy was passed out on the other sofa.

I walked over to Lucy and woke her up she looked around and saw the boys and took a few pictures on her phone.

"They are going to be hung over," Lucy whispered to me, "let's wake them up."

We ran into the kitchen and each of us got a pot and a metal spoon and placed the pot near their heads and started hitting the pot as hard as possible.

"What the hell?!" "What are you guys doing?!" "Shut up!" Are only some of the things yelled at us by the three angry boys, who probably have horrible headaches, while we roll around on the floor laughing once I remember the photos I quickly grabbed Lucy's phone and posted the pictures on everything. The boys phones started going off.

The three of them look at us

"You," Charlie starts,

"Girls," Ayden continues,

"Are," Isaac says

"Dead!" All three of them yelled getting up to chase us but we were faster and we quickly ducked through the kitchen and out the back door. We both went opposite ways Lucy ran to the left of the pool and I ran to the right just as the boys reached the pool Isaac, who was in front, stopped to prevent himself from falling into the pool but the other two didn't get the memo and crashed into his back. All three of them fell in.

"It's cold!" Ayden screamed clinging to Charlie like a koala.

Lucy and I were again laughing at them, again.

After breakfast Lucy and I went to get changed out of our pajamas because we decided to go to the park then they boys invited themselves. I put on a pair of denim shorts and my American flag top. I pulled on my converse and grabbed my backpack. (outfit on the side) I went down stairs and saw Lucy on the couch. We grab our skateboards and headed off to the park.

We reached the park and went over to the skate park that is a cross the parking lot. Once we get over we realised that we were the only girls that were there, to skate anyway there were plenty of girls sitting on the picnic tables.

Lucy and I get onto the deck and wait our turn.

"Why are you girls up here?" A guy around the same age as Lucy and I asks.

"To skate." Lucy said in a duh tone.

And the stranger laughed and yelled out "these girls want to skate!" And everyone else started laughing.

Isaac, Charlie and Ayden had just shown up with their skateboards and herd what was going on. Ayden and Charlie gave each other knowing looks, they had seen Lucy and I skate.

Knowing I had those boys to back me up I said loud enought for everyone to hear, "We could do better than you."

"I doubt it!" Someone yelled. I smiled and skated down to flat ground and I looked at the still nameless guy.

"I'm Sophie and that's Lucy," I told him.

"Why would I want to know that?" He asked.

"I just thought you would want to know the name of the girls that can skate much better than you." I tell him with a shrug.

I start heading off towards the rail I jump onto the rail doing a feeble grind and coming off. I do an ollie then a kick flip. I get onto the second rail and do a 5-0 and come off. I do a kick turn and another kick flip I skate towards Lucy and take her bag.

"Lucy's turn." I yell and she skated off towards the railing.

-----------next day-------

I get out of bed and realised that I should probably get up for school, considering it's Monday. I checked the time on my phone and I still had an hour and a half to get ready. I grab my shirt with the number 38 printed on it, a pair of black shorts and my black converse. I put on a pair of studs and a matching bracelet. (Outfit on the side)

I went down stairs and made myself breakfast. I ate at wile watching an episode of adventure time. I grabbed my bag, phone and head phones, started skating to school.

I was in my last class today, science, the teacher was going on and on about something useless. I was playing Crossy Roads on my phone when suddenly the teacher said my name.

"Sophie, since you think you know this what's the-" I cut him off.

"I don't think I know this I think I won't ever need this," corrected him still playing my game, "when have you ever used this in life?" I continued expecting an answer.

"Wel- I um.." He stuttered out.

"Exactly." I said before I stood up and left the class room. Now I thought what class does Lucy have? Math.

I walk to Lucy's math class before I knocked on the door I oped the door and walked in.

"Lucy needs to come to the office," I lied to the teacher. Lucy stood up and Charlie who also had that class looked at me hopefully, I mentally groaned and said Charlie was needed too. We ended up also getting Ayden and, with a lot of convincing, Isaac too. We all grabbed our skateboards and went to leave the school just as we were about to go towards the gates we realised that Isaac didn't have a skateboard.

"Hey Isaac ever wanted to learn to skate?"
