(2nd point of view)
One rainy day on a cold crisp morning in November your parents had went out to look for jobs, leaving you and your younger siblings alone in this new house they had brought. The house was standard, nothing special. Except...well all except the basement, down there was a small door that was locked and no one could find the keys, well no one really looked for it, but you knew it had to have been somewhere in this house. You set your little brother and little sister a task to look everywhere to find keys. About an hour later your siblings came bursting through the doors of your bedroom jumping around like monkeys "we found keys!" they exclaimed with the enthusiasm of children when they are off from summer vacation, you shot up from the small wooden chair in the corner of your room and jump up and down with them in excitement. You followed them into the kitchen to see 15 keys in a drawer, weird you've never seen these before but none the less you all picked up 5 keys and headed down into the basement. You looked at the keys, each key having a member of your families name on with past present and future written next to them. You shrugged and opened the door with your brothers key labelled past, there was a spiral then out of nowhere there was a video that started to play, it was your mum and dad in your families old kitchen talking "we aren't ready to have another kid! Just get rid of it" your dads voiced boomed, when your mum spoke she sounded like she was crying "no! I know he was an accident but he is still my child!" there was a pause then "just think about it" your dad said in a frustrated tone "I will I promise" it stopped and went black your sister laughed "ha ha you were an accident" your brother was crying "shut up lets see what your past is!!" he took his key out and put hers in. This time your parents was in what seemed to be an office, and there was another person with them "so the young girl you want to adopt do you want to take her home today or do you want to take her tomorrow?" your mum looked at your dad and he nodded "today if possible" the person nodded and handed them a piece of paper with your sisters name on "just sign to say that you've taken her" they signed and then it faded black, this time it was your brother who was laughing and her that was crying "ha ha you're adopted" you giggled at their childish games "pack it up you two I want to know my past" you took her key out replaced it with yours. The same spiral appeared and it started to play, this time they were outside a hospital with baby you. you smiled at the video before you "I look so-" you paused and your eyes widened, your mum had just dropped you on the floor, it cut off and went black, you eyes widened in shock, I mean it would explain a lot. Your brother took your key out and put your mums key in...you weren't prepared for what you was about to witness. She was in an old, broken building. She had a bag of white powder, a bag of green plants and a bag of liquid, there was needles all around her. you cover your siblings eyes quickly, your mum was a drug addict?! It faded and you let go of them. You was shaken, "you ok?" you looked at your sister and smiled "I'm find lets find out what dads past is" you put your dads key in, he was in what you assume was his old room, he had 20 bottles of beer next to his bed, 2 bottles of vodka under his bed and a bottle of tequila in his hand with a shot glass "dad was an alcoholic?" your sister asked and you shrugged "I guess so." you took the key out and put your brothers present key in. this time it showed your brother sleeping around with lots of girls, "wow so many ladies!" you laughed "damn Hercules Mulligan slow down" we both laughed, theatre kids. He took his key out and put your sisters in...she was crossing the street...she-she didn't see the car, it hit her...she looked at you, she held fear in her eyes "what is this? Are you two playing a joke on me? If you are It isn't funny!" you took her key out as quickly as you could and put her future key In but nothing showed up...it was just black. You put your present key in...but what you saw was vial, it made you feel violently sick. You was in your room and you was hanging from the ceiling with a note on the ground that said 'I'm sorry but goodbye' It faded to black and you teared up and backed away from the door shaking "sis are you-" you cut her off, with tears in your eyes you shouted "go upstairs now, and forget what you've just seen, no mention of this to mum or dad!"...they stood silent "go!" you scream, they ran up the stairs and out the door, you crawled back over and put your mums present key in, it showed her with another man behind close doors, she is cheating on your dad! the tears soon fell from your eyes and turned into waterfalls, your hand turned into fists and with a sudden movement you struck the wall, you thought moving would change your lives but no it's still the same old story! You put dads present key in and it showed him shoplifting in multiple different stores. One by one you put everyone's future keys into the door, your brother was now a drug addict, your dad was a criminal and your mum...who was killed by your dad. you was weeping at this point. youshut the door quickly and locked it, you ran straight upstairs with all the keys and threw them into the drawer you and your siblings got them from. you grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and in big bold letters wrote 'DONT USE THESE ON THE DOOR DOWN IN THE BASEMENT EVER!'. A week later your sister, just like the door had predicted, got hit by an SUV car. The next week after that your mum and dad had been fighting and grew distant. The next week after that your dad killed your mum and went to jail, no one knows what happened to your dad after he went to jail, some say he escaped, some say he was put to death but no one knows for sure. After that your brother brought home girls every night, you could never sleep because he was always out late with girls or he would be making weird noises in the next room from yours. when he finally turned 16 you and him got into a massive argument over drugs and the girls which made him pack his stuff and leave...you were all alone, you had no one left and you blame yourself ever day for what happened to your family. maybe if you hadn't found them stupid keys and opened that stupid door none of this would have happened!
. As weeks turned into months you found yourself giving up on life and in the end the voices were to much for you to handle and you ended it...just like the door said you would.

One rainy day, the parents of the new family had went out to look at the highschools and preschools around the area, leaving the kids alone. They look inside the kitchen drawers and find the keys, only this time with their names written next to past, present and future. At the bottom of the kitchen drawer they found a note, the same note you had left in there 'don't open the door downstairs! EVER' but...when do kids ever listen.
