Quick note: I writing this because I wanted to start another story, and I just caught up to the latest episode in Black Clover and really enjoyed the show.

My writing style will also be changing in this story.

Hope you enjoy this Chapter and any future ones.

Even in a room filled with the ones he'd saved. No one came to his rescue, nobody cried out to the injustice that they were witnessing, not a single person cared that he was going to get hanged. Not even he bothered to open his mouth in protest.

Blood pouring and staining his pain white shirt, with two gaping tears from the multiple puncture wounds inflicted to him as punishment, to a crime he never committed.

The soldiers escorted him to the stage, wrapped his neck with the rope of death, and left him there. Alone.

The man lightly smiled to the crowd, scarring the soldiers that have seen the brutality of warfare, terrifying the minds of the women that have lost everything, and stiffening the legs of the children that have ran from death countless time.

But the honest gesture was never aimed to the cowering crowd, but to a hopeful father. That was long since dead, and resting in the afterlife.

'Did I do it? Did I become a Hero of Justice, Kiritsugu?'

These were the last thoughts of the man that abandoned everything to become a simple ideal. This was the end of Shirou Emiya's life and the beginning of Counter Guardian EMIYA...Or that's what it was meant to be.

Shirou strained himself to open his eyes, with a bright light blinding him from his new surroundings. His eyes quickly adjusted to the new light intensity, looking around with a mixture of shock and astonishment.

He was in the living space of his old house back in Fuyuki City, the Japanese style furniture and the humble kitchen attached to the side of the spacious room.

"What- How am I here?" Shirou questioned while searching the room. He walked over to the only slide door in the room, opening it to reveal a white empty void. "Is this the Counter Force?"

"Oh heaven's no, my dear boy" exclaimed a hearty voice, yet having a roughness to it. Shirou spun to face an old man that had long grey hair, that was kept like a lion's mane, with a chin curtain beard. But despite his age, the Hero could feel the immense presence of command and knowledge from him. He just looked at the elderly, dumbfounded at what he should say. "Are you just going to stare at me all day, or are we going to start talking"

Even though it was a question, it felt like an order to Shirou. The elderly man just sat down and summoned himself some green tea, shirou did the same, with the tea appearing in front of him.

"So...who exactly are you" Shirou began, earning the attention of the man sat directly in front of him.

"Where are my manners?" Asked the old man, suddenly grinning at the confused young man. "I am Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, I'm sure you've heard of me"

Shirou shook his head, surprising the mage.

"Zelretch, the Wizard Marshall, sole owner of the Kaleidoscope, one of the Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors, do those ring any bells?" Said Zelretch with a desperate expression on his face, Shirou shook his head again. The Marshall sighed in disappointment."That annoying Troll?"

"Ohhh, Now I recognize you-" " You've got to be kidding me!!" Zelretch shouted with anger and irritation, he slammed his tea on the table, not only breaking the cup but also a piece of the table along with it. He took some deep breaths before facing Shirou again. "Let's just get this over with"

"So why exactly have you called me here, Mr Zelretch?" Shirou asked cautiously, fearing the Wizard's might. "Surely you didn't summon me here to greet me to the Counter Force"

"Of course not, I came here to do the exact opposite." Upon hearing this, Shirou started at the old man with concern and curiousness. "I don't want you to waste your afterlife killing humans and non-human for some overrated spirit"

"But I made a-" "'A contract with the Counter Force', yeah, yeah I know" he said dismissively while waving his hand up and down to Shirou. "Listen to my offer first, before you go off and start a job you will hate"

Shirou sighed in acceptance, listening to the true, and horrific meaning of being a Guardian and the Wizard's wishes to transport him to a different world, that was filled with problems and danger, for his own entertainment.

"So do you accept?" Said the old wizard, smiling with excitement and anticipation. Shirou looked deeply onto his tea, seeing the green reflection of his own face. "Well are you going-" "Fine I'll go to this world of yours. I wish to save this world, even if it is just for your entertainment"

"Good! Here!" Said the Marshall while presenting two buttons to the man, both identical grey ones. Shirou just looked at the Wizard like he was crazy. "Pick one!"

"What do they do?" Shirou spoke with serious concern to the Zelretch's intentions.

"These beauties will determine how you'll be summoned into the next world" Said the vampire with a mad grin, no longer able to hold back his true excitement. "One of these will place you there as you currently are, with your powers from the Counter Force and the other...Will give you a new body, without any memories or any of your powers, which one will you chose?"

"That's-" "Thrilling?" "Insane!" Shirou stared at the two buttons with fear and uncertainly, he had to make a choice because becoming a Guardian was no long an option.

Suddenly, a smirk appeared on the Hero's face, surprising the vampire and making his grin disappear. Shirou raised his hand up and slamming it down on the table, with a loud buzzer sound following his action.

There alone sat Zelretch, nervously staring at the buttons with a sadistic smile. He then started to laugh quietly, growing louder and louder until it echoed throughout the whole room.

On the broken table, the two buttons laying there, both no longer grey, but shinning bright green. Eventually, Zelretch stopped laughing but his smile didn't disappear.

"He pressed both of the buttons?!" He got up and making the fake room disappear, summoning a fancy chair with a large crystal orb in front of it. "This will be very interesting. I definitely didn't make a mistake choosing you, Shirou Emiya."

Two Years Before The Black Clover Timeline: Village of Hage

In a remote village, known for having the giant skull of the great demon that terrorized the Clover Kingdom and it's people, hundred of years ago and where the legend of the first Wizard King was born, stood a lone church in a rainy evening. A helpless baby's cry could be heard against the pouring rain.

The doors of the church suddenly swung open, revealing Orsi Orfai the head of this building. He challenged the strong winds and cold rain to grab the crying basket, rushing inside and slammed the door shut.

He quickly lit a flame in the fire place with nothing but his hand, while rocking the baby up and down in his other arm. When the child had finally calmed down, the Father placed him back in the now dry basket.

The baby boy couldn't have been even a year old, with bright auburn hair, shiny amber eyes and a white complexion. He was given a white baby suit with his first name written on his chest.

"Let's see...Shirou, huh?" Said Orsi with confidence. "I don't know who would just leaves a boy like you in that sort of weather, but you're safe now. In your new home, Shirou"
