Silence creeping up my spine.

Oh, how I wish the moon was mine!

I've never missed something quite so much.

But now I'm longing for her touch.


Her golden heart so kind and fair.

Her gentle words that whisper prayers.

She's truly perfect, no surprise.

There's even beauty in her eyes.


The tense that every single day,

Is like a different month.

The sense that I might drift away,

And lose it all at once.


I'll never know what lies behind,

That look upon her face.

And though she looks you in the eyes,

She stares off into space.


Yes, there's something strange about that girl,

That traps me in her eyes.

It's like she's in a different world,

That's Far Beyond The Skies...
