A hint of Hinny~after the war

Chapter 3

After mum and dad left, I go to my room while Hermione and Ron go to the lake, I'm pretty sure Harry's in his room. After about an hour I hear a knock on the door. "Come in" I say, putting down my book. Harry comes in. "Wanna go and join Ron and 'Mione?" He asks. "Oh-sure" I say. "Shoo! I'm about to change!" I yell at him playfully as I realize he's not leaving. "Okay, okay!" He says as he shuts the door behind him.

Once we're ready we meet downstairs, I'm wearing a pastel green oversized t-shirt with a sports bra and shorts underneath. Harry's just wearing shorts without a shirt. Once we get to the lake we find Hermione and Ron eating each others faces. Harry made a "blegh" sound and they broke apart, both red in the face, I snort. As I calm down Harry pushes me into the water. "Harry James Potter!" I yell as I tug on his leg and he falls in as well. Later as I'm swimming I feel something tug on my leg, it pulls me down and I try to yell for but it's hopeless, suddenly everything went black.

Harry's POV:

"Ginny!" I yell as I come back to the lake to find her "we're having pizza!" But I stop dead in my tracks when I see her floating around, gasping for air. Without thinking, I jump into the water and grab ginny. Once I get her on land I check her pulse and she's fine so I push on her chest and she coughs up all the water. "H-Harry?" She asks hoarsely. "Yes?" I reply. "Where's Hermione and Ron?" She asks as I pick her up. "They went on a date" I say, then open the door. "Oh, okay." She said, than she fell asleep in my arms. I lay her down on her bed, watching her snore softly.

After an hour a patronous appears in the living room with Hermione's voice. "Hi Harry, just letting you know, me and Ron are staying in a hotel for the night. Goodnight!" And then the patronous turns into mist and disappears. I laugh knowing why they're staying at the hotel. I go up to ginnys room to give her her pizza. "Come in!" She yells from inside. I walk in and put the pizza on her bedside table. "Feeling better?" I ask, noticing she looks a lot better, her fiery red hair up in a tight bun and her light skin glowing. "Oh, yeah" she replies as she picks up a pizza slice. Our eyes meet as she looks up, I look into her chocolate brown eyes. Suddenly I lean in, and it looks like she has the same idea because she did too. Our lips met and we just sat there, both in shock. After the shockwave we both lean in, the kiss becoming passionate.
