Not entirely a fic. But consider this lovely headcanon as my gift to you.
One day, Rhys got into one of his sensitive Illyrian brood sessions—and it hit hard. We're talking rooftop-after-Summer-Court-scene hard.
This was the first time Nesta and Elain had ever seen Rhys quite like this, and Mor and Feyre ultimately explain the whole "sensitive Illyrian babies" shebang to Nesta and Elain.
Time skip a few hours later, and Rhysand is still in his mood—not even Feyre can get him back to his usual standards. Nesta and Elain call a spontaneous Inner Circle meeting. Not even Feyre or Mor know why and everyone comes rushing to meet them.
Nesta and Elain simply tell Rhys, Cassian, and Azriel to all step forward. Confused (and grumpily, in Rhysand's case), they oblige. Nesta and Elain both hold out a single package.
Excited, Cassian ends up ripping open the package. Inside, he finds a massive purple onesie with little Illyrian wings sticking out the back. All three look up at Nesta and Elain, horrified.
Elain sewed it and it was Nesta's idea. Now, whenever any of them decide to brood and make everyone else's lives miserable, they must wear the Baby Bat Costume for the rest of the day.
It's Rhysand's turn first.
