"Ash, Sky, come down for dinner!" Mom yelled from the kitchen.
"Just a minute!!"
"Sky, put up your coloring book, dinner is ready" Skylee shrugs. She is practically skin and bones. Skylee pretends not to hear me. I grab the Blue crayon she is using.
"Hey!" She reaches back for it. I hold it above my head. Lasagna aromas drift from downstairs.
Skylee licks her lips, but resumes reaching for the crayon. I narrow my eyes. "Not until after dinner, 'kay?"
She groans, but sarcastically. We descend down the steps, and, horrified see our mother. Doing something awful. Dying.Skylee screams, as Mom gasps for air. Not AGAIN!!
