It's been 4 days since Seokjin escaped out of the laboratory. These couple of days they didn't do much because they mainly focused on resting Seokjin's injured leg. He's at the point where he might use the crutches that are made out of branches.

Taehyung grabs the crutches and walks towards Seokjin who's laying down and cuddling with Bear. Taehyung has to admit, they look really cute. The way Seokjin giggles while Bear is licking his cheeks, makes Taehyung in awe.
''Hyung, you've rested well these days. Maybe you can try out my self-made crutches'' he asks
Seokjin turns his shocked face in his direction.
''I don't think I'm able to do it, yet'' he says shyly while fidgeting his fingers
''It's okay hyung, you don't have to walk immediately once you're using the crutches. Just try it out, how sturdy the crutches are and how comfortable it feels''
Seokjin wavers. What if I fall again? I'll fall in front of him, which is embarrassing. I don't want to fail. While Seokjin is having these thoughts, a soul appears. Seokjin looks at him and gazes off. The soul doesn't look back to him: he almost looks unbothered until it finally says something.
''You're such a coward, you'll never be able to do something like that'' the soul says
Seokjin wants to answer back to the soul but he can't because Taehyung will hear him. Instead of answering or replying to the soul, he looks down. He's not so brave to do simple things like these, because he's afraid to show his failure to Taehyung. He doesn't want to disappoint him. What would he think of me if I fail? Would he still care about me if I fell? Would he still care about me if I showed him my imperfections? What if he would leave me?
Taehyung glares at Seokjin who's still processing his thoughts. He somehow feels his anxiety by just looking at him. Seokjin, what's going through your mind? he wanted to ask him but he already sees why he shouldn't ask: he's about to break down. Why are you so fragile? Taehyung places his hand on his shoulder which made him look up.
''Seokjin, you'll be fine I promise. I'll be there for you'' he says while looking in his eyes
Seokjin places both of his hands on Taehyung's cheeks, which suddenly heats up as soon as he puts his hands on his cheeks. Taehyung is dazed. Seokjin suddenly places both of his hands on his neck and pulls Taehyung closer. Taehyung's heart starts beating faster as he's only a couple of centimeters away from Seokjin's face.
