Chapter 11

Blood Mates

The book was scary looking i could say that with confidence, opening to the front page dust sprayed into m face *cough*, *cough* "that's disgusting" I muttered to myself, that's when i heard someone calling my name, "Malus? are you in here?" my father called, Almost dropping the book, I hid it in my dress and ran out from the hidden library closing the secret door, "Over back here!" I answered back.

"oh good, your Mother was looking for you everywhere she would have never guessed you being in thr library" He chuckled and i joined in but my coming out nervous, "Is everything alright?" he asked sensing my discomfort, nodding i coughed a bit before descending down the stairs, "yes, fine perfect I should go see what Mother wants alright?" I asked, "but of course don't want to keep her waiting" Father nodded opening the door for me.

smiling i walked through before walking - very fast to my room, closing the door behind me i took the book out from under my dress and hid it in my drawer, I would have to wait till later to read it.

hearing my mothers angry calls for me i quickly ran down the stairs to see what the matter was. 

"mother you have been calling me?" I asked politely, "Yes" she hissed angrily did she find out i went to uncle? maybe he called and told her, dammit.

"okay what did i do now?" I asked almost hiding behind my father, " your uncle called said that you dropped by and was very angry once you left - he wanted to know if anything happened" Mother asked with her arms crossed over herself. "well you see hahahah - godda go!" I yelled running the  opposite direction. "Malus!" I heard mom yell after me.

running into the backyard i hid myself from her in my invisible state, "dammit malus!" she yelled storming her foot before walking back inside. walking deeper into the woods i uncovered myself, that's when i reached a pond. before i could step inside of it a hand grabbed me and pulled me back.

frighted i grabbed the strangers arm burning it with my powers and flipping the person over my body. there was Alexander in all his glory with a pained expression, "oh my heavens Alex I'm so sorry" I whispered dropping to my knees beside him. 

"I-ts fine i scared you I'm sorry" He mumbled trying to get up, "why did you scare me?" I asked confused looking back at the pond, "you cannot pass that pond" He growled at me, "why not?" I asked getting angry, :because that's unknown territory anything can happen o you out there i don't want you getting hurt" He mumble to me inspecting his now burned arm.

"oh" I sighed all of my anger leaving my body, looking at his arm i did burn him pretty bad, "I'm sorry for burning you" I said with sincerity while cradling his arm in my hands, "mal what are you doin-" I cut him off by placing my lips on his arm, the burned skin slowly went back to its original state as i continued to kiss it. 

after i was finished Alex looked at me with an unknown emotion, "thank you' He whispered looking at his arm with a happy grin. I nodded standing back up, "where are you going?" he asked, "to study" I mumbled remembering the blood mates book i had hid earlier, Alexander laughed, "you mean with this?" he asked holding up the book. 

"you took it from my room!" I boomed making the birds fly away from the trees nearby, "yes i did" He nodded with a smirk, "give it back" I seethed walking back to him, "no"  Alex answered raising the book out of my reach. "give. it. back." I hissed at him, he went to far going through my things and stealing the book it did not belong to him, "it doesn't belong to you either" He answered almost like he could hear my thoughts.

"i can hear your thoughts" he nodded, "well i would damn know that if i had the book!" I yelled out at him, "now no need for yelling" he scowled, "damn Alex give me the book!" I yelled at him, "why do you want it hmm?! you don't even like me ! you don't except me! why do you want to learn about the thing between us even tho you don't except it!" he yelled back at me taking me by surprise. 

I stepped back shocked but understood. My lips were in a thin line, "you are right" I said now taking him by surprise, "I don't accept you or whatever this is between us." I answered making his eyes harden and his jaw tighten, "and i never will" I growled at him turning away from him.

cracking of trees and lighting was heard outside of my window that night, it was Alexander taking out his anger from the fight today we had i could tell by the connection that we shared. I didn't mean what i said today to him, i did want to know what this thing was between us, I want to understand it to get it... but i am scared. "I'm sorry Alexander..." I whispered into the air maybe he would hear it, "my blood mate...." I whispered again before slipping off to sleep.
