Bakit ka single? #1

"Hello, You are Ms. Airish Kang right?" napalingon agad ako sa nagsalita, the interviewer who invited me to meet today. I stood up and waved my hand.

"Nako! Ang ganda mo pala talaga sa personal!" puri nya at umupo na sa harap ko. "Thank you hehe." i said at gave my sweetest smile.

"Order ka na!" nakangiti kong alok but she refused it and nilabas niya na yung camera para daw mabilis kaming matapos because she knew that i have a lot of things to do today.

"So let's start, Ms. Airish!"

"Alam mo naman po yung uso ngayon di'ba? Are you ready na po?" i nodded as a response kaya nagstart na siya ayusin yung camera.

"So, today we are going to have a short interview with Ms. Kang. She's one of the very famous author dahil sa mga books niyang sobrang lungkot and sakit. Hello, Ms. Airish!"

I smiled and waved to the camera "Hello!"

"So, Let's start Ms. Kang for today we're going to talk about kung bakit ka single. Are you ready?"

"Yes, but i'm a bit nervous hehe!" natetense kong sagot, feeling ko kasi ilang minutes iiyak ako ng bongga HAHAHAH.

"Don't be nervous po, hindi ako nangangain! Let's start na."

"Bakit ka single?" she asked na para bang interesado siya. I let out a heavy sigh, and smile bitterly.

"kasi hindi niya tinupad yung pangako niya" i answered that brings back thousand memories of us. It flashed into my mind one by one, from the happiest to the most painful one.

"I met him when I was 5 at the hospital..."

5 years old ako when nagsimulang maging pangalawang tahanan ko na ang hospital, and at the same hospital i met him, Dave. Katulad ko hospital is his second home. But, we have different reason why we are there.

I have a heart disease that doctors are trying to cure, i didn't bother to ask kung anong klaseng disease yun. Because I trust God that he will cure me, i often pray that someday everything will gonna be alright.

Habang siya, tinamaan ng ligaw na bala sa ulo. Doctors are trying to find a way to remove it, pero mayroong nagsasabi na they shouldn't worry too much since it's safe already.

I still remember how we met na halos ikamatay na naming dalawa. Nakikipagtaguan ako sa kapatid ko, Aaron. He visited me and checking me if i'm doing good and he even both my favorite foods and a stufftoy. Everytime na binibisita niya ako lagi kaming naglalaro. Nagtago ako sa isang room noon, not knowing he was there watching me entering his room.

Dahan dahan siyang bumaba sa kama niya non, and dahan dahan ding lumapit saakin at ginulat ako. Parehas kaming nagulat non, lalo na ako magugulatin sobra kaya inatake ako that time, while siya napaatras sa isang stall na may mga robots dahilan para bumagsak sa ulo niya.

"Hala grabe naman yung first encounter niyo pero ang cute hihi" the interviewer compliment, i bit my lower lip and continue reminiscing the good old days.

"Because of that accident, we became friends. We play, we enjoyed our youth, we became closer more than usual bestfriends are"

We shared different memories of us, and created new memories with each other. Gulat pa ako nung nalaman ko na he's a 2 years older than me but parehas kami ng birthday, November 17.

Masaya kami magkasama, walang sino man ang nakakapaghiwalay saamin. Kahit nga ata sa pagtulog gusto namin tabi kami.
We love celebrating each other's birthday, Naalala ko he bought me a human size teady bear, 7 years old ako non.
