Just now arriving to our destination this ride was long as hell I'm tired and sleepy I just wanna rest but not here . Baton Rouge is too ghetto and hood for me not saying that I'm boujee or whatever but I feel like we could get kilt just for being down here
"Jaylan get up we are here" my mom said getting out the car
"Ughh oh my gosh" I sighed "Ion even see why we moved all the way down here to the hood this is ghetto" I said opening the car door I grabbed my things and got out
"Can you hush this is not the ghetto look and you'll see" she snapped I could hear the attitude in her voice
"Okay Sabrina" I laughed rolling my eyes
"Stop playing with me girl and when we go up here don't get to acting boujee or stuck up" she said walking off to the gates
"Girl that's just how I am" I shrugged "Cant help it"
"You can help it when I punch you in the throat" she said eyeing me down
The gate opened we walked inside and up to the door she rung the doorbell while I stood just looking around taking in all of this
"Remember what I said Jaylan" she said
Somebody opened the door it was a tall darkskin man he was so fine and chocolate like lord have mercy on my soul I can see why my momma moved down here with this dude
My momma step up to him they kissed making me turn up my damn nose

"Oh I'm sorry you must be Jaylan" he ask smirking at me
"Yeah I am"
"Nice to meet you your mom talks about you a lot" he said grabbing our bags "I'm Nick"
"I hope good things and nice to meet you too" I faked smiled I looked over at my mom she wanted to snap so bad
"Behave" she said mumbling with her lips
Nodding my head I followed her inside the house it was extremely huge and looked nice but I still didn't want to be here. Orlando was the place to be my hometown but I guess we can't stay in the same spot forever gotta try new things
"Let me show you to your room" Nick said leading us up the stairs
We made it to the room it was pretty got plenty of space the bed had silk sheets so as the covers. This room had a personal bathroom all of this was the same at home so this didn't impressed me
