45 mins passed and i'd showered, changed and was anxiously waiting on the couch for her to arrive. what would i say to her, what if she doesn't feel the same way, was the kiss a mistake, maybe she didn't like it but just went along with it to not make me feel bad. my brain was so engulfed by these thoughts that i barely heard the door ring. this was it, she's here.
I got up, swallowed the lump in my throat and opened the door.
