"I need to go okay I have this opportunity, I want to focus on my career, please understand mummy" I said pleasingly.

"Let her go, mom, she is right, her career is important and she will be safe also far from here!" Araav said.

"What's wrong with you brother?" I don't even want your shadow to keep eye on me anymore mark my words" I grinned

"Honey! You have never been alone this far from us, New York can be dangerous for you, I am happy you got the offer from NYU, I know you are my talented butterfly and I love you lot but..." Mummy said by holding tears in her eyes.

"I love you too mummy" I interrupted by hugging her from behind like a little girl looking for support and comfort by placing my head on her shoulder.

Loud music suddenly hits my ear by cracking my dreams from my phone, I suddenly wake-up from my dream to reality and grabbed my phone for watching time, It's been 10:30 in the morning, Not again damn it I yelled by throwing my blanket down off the bed.

I did my brush while taking a quick shower, I guess I am one of those students who are not destined to attain the lectures on time. Without thinking much I just grabbed whatever the peace of cloth I got in my hand. I rush towards the mirror and changed into a light blue and white floral frock by applying my favorite creamy pink lipstick, with a messy wet open hairs I rush towards the elevator by locking the door behind me.

I texted to nick "Why the fuck you haven't call me nick?"

"I am a little busy baby see you after college at Starbucks don't be late" Nick

"I knew it, he is not even in his class... what else I should expect with him," I thought in mind and started calling mom.

"Good morning mummy"

"Good morning Vedhu.So someone is running out of time again I guess" She said

"I chuckle, yes mummy you don't know how shameful people have been"

"Honey I miss your smile every day, work on your punctuality, Have you eaten something what about your breakfast?" She asked

"Yeah mom a glass of milk (I am sorry for lie) now on the way for college"

"Hmm Milk is not enough please take care of yourself and take your meals properly on time okay?" She confirmed

"Yeah of-course my sun-shine, now bye I'll call you later"

"Take care honey and please no hurry, drive safely" She said

I kept my phone on the side seat of my car sobbingly thinking about my morning dream, I also miss you a lot, mummy.

I parked my car on the parking lot, second last row to the left, I rush towards the class, and Professor Edward is addressing something about Artificial Intelligence, all I can hear

"May I...?"

"Why not Vedhika, good morning" Professor Edward interrupted

I am so embarrassed, I look down as an apology, I am sorry. Without looking up I hurry up to catch my space near Alisha

"Hey, I love your dress, well I don't think you need to attain these boring lectures," Alisha

"Alisha is my Pooh Bear she is sharp-minded still holds a heart of honey which you always prefer over sugar. She is the one friend who everyone wishes for, her "loyalty/honesty" and her mature advice is something that will satisfy you in your bad times" I thought by gazing at her"

"I rolled my eyes over her, thanks for your compliment, but I think lectures are important to attain after all that's why we are paying them fees right?"

"Right, and that's why you try your best to reach here every morning, isn't it!" We both laughed.
