The Gold Awards

Welcome

Our entire team of talented writers and editors welcome you to the Gold Awards! We have opened these awards to look for some people to recommend for publishing (and not just the Wattpad kind.)

We hope to help your story reach the recognition that it deserves and to show our love and respect to original and creative stories that are still left undiscovered!

We want to pluck you out of obscurity and push you into the spotlight. We also want to help you improve and we have an amazing team of English Majors, reviewers and editors on standby.

I know we all hate rules! But these contain information that you need in order to enter!!!
1. Follow these accounts (the two main hosts and organisers plus this account), braksburgh4ever, sydneycc5, mrwilyandbeautiful as well as your judge's accounts when they are announced.

2. Add this book to your both your public reading list and private one. (This allows you to be notified about any updates.)

3. Your story must have at least 5 chapters, each around 1,500 words long. (With exception of flash fiction or short stories.) This excludes character aesthetics, cast lists, author's notes etc. Prologues are okay.

4. Go check out 'The Half Light' by braksburgh4ever, and comment on five chapters of your choice. (Favourite comments will receive spotlight in our community reading list.)

5. Your story must be in English.

6. The password is any colour of your choice.

7. You can only enter one book. Choose your genre wisely, though all books are considered for all the other awards.

8. If you are also applying to be a judge, you cannot judge the genre that you are participating in.

9. Please don't change your username or the book title. You will be automatically suspended if this occurs.

10. Bullying will not be tolerated. (Kindness will be rewarded.)

11. Tag 5 people.
