After the incident
I ran away to the school ground.
It was already last period
And by the end of the episode that I was part of
The school was ready for dispersal.

There is always a secret corner in your school which only few have access to and where there is privacy and shelter found whenever needed.
That place was near the school ground.

After the episode,
I just walked away from them and went to the secret place.

And Vansh followed me with our bags.
I looked at him,
He just nodded
In understanding my embarrassment, guiltiness  and all these wierd emotions running through me.

"It's ok".
Vansh said

I nodded
But my heart

God it wouldn't stop tumbling and running.

Vansh made me sit.
Gave me some water to drink.
And a toffee.

He always has toffees in hand.
You know for emergency.
For himself and me.
It's been started since the beginning of time.

I calmed down a little bit.

We were quiet for sometime,
Just sitting.

The school buses started running.
So we walked back to our houses.
It was near our school.

While walking
Vansh asked quietly
"How was the kiss?"

I looked up at him,
Feeling heat on my face,
Just thinking about the episode

I just shook my head,

And walked away to my house
With a hand wave bye.

Now
I'm standing in the assembly,
News is being read.

It's been two days,
And now I am hyperventilating
But what else could I do,
Tell me.

It's not that simple to forget that episode,
It is as if the episode is stamped on me,
Even unconsciously I am playing it over.

Frankly speaking it's not comfortable being red for this long in an assembly.

People think I have the flu.

"Aru!"
I heard behind me and turned around to find Vrinda waving her hand to go over to her.

I looked around me,
Nobody would mind if I walked over to her,
Leaving my place in the assembly.

So I went over to her,
She said we could go around the school,

(We have been doing this regularly for past 2 months now, walking around the school during assembly)

I said fine
It would change the mood,
And I can focus on something, anything else.

We walked up to first floor and were talking about some  competition,
When we saw her crush,
Rishab and she blushed.

Vrinda's eyes were stuck to him. He was in the first floor corridor walking the opposite side.

So I poked her on her ribs to get her attention and could not stop smirking.

She came towards me trying to tickle me.
It is my weakness.

I am very weak to tickle.
Will do anything commanded during the circumstance to just stop getting tickled

She knew that,
I didn't want to give her the power,
So I ran down the stairs,
Looking back to check out if I was out of reach from her or not.

I looked back to see she was not far behind me,
So I took another step forward,
Looking back at her.

Stupid me,
I slipped the steps,
Trying to stop myself from falling ,
I tried to hold on to anything,
for railing, steps, gravity, life,
But couldn't find any and just
Stumbled ahead and not ready to face what was in front of me.
The wall.
Great
I thought
I closed my eyes.
Cringing towards the wall.
I did collide with something.
My head hit something solid.
I felt going out of consciousness.

Somebody was murmuring and my head hurt,
I slowly opened my eyes,
So many faces were looking at me,
I blinked
Once,
twice,
What the hell,
What happened?

"Aru, are you ok baby?"
Somebody whispered in my ear.

I jumped,
And turned my head to the side
To find out the voice.

It was Ridhik
He looked at me,
With concern and confusion
Oh my god,
That jaw dropping, heat infusing,
Heart shattering face.

My heart was running a tattoo and I was mesmerized by his face,
It was so beautiful,
Those chocolate brown eyes, sparkling eyes, deep pools were looking all over me, tense not calm.

I felt movement over my arms,
Somebody was rubbing it soothingly.

My shoulder was throbbing.
I winced and looked the other side,

Vrinda and some of my classmates were staring at me.

And after a minute of staring back I realised what was going on.
I had slipped from the stairs and hit the wall,
Now I was on Ridhik's lap, who was sitting on one of the steps and the others were looking at me.
That's why,
Ok.

I tried to get up from Ridhik's lap,
But his arms encircled my torso,
I looked at him,
Nodding and saying
"I'm fine"

He looked at me concerned,
But did loosen his arms around me, and I let go of him.
I tried to get up,
I did need some assistance from him( I literally put all my weight on him)

I felt dizzy,
My head and shoulders throbbed.

He arms were around my waist,
I tried to stand straight,
And smiled at everyone
Stating
"I'm fine"

He whispered in my ears
"Are you feeling dizzy?"

I shivered, but nodded
I mean why bother,
My head was aching and it was difficult to just stand straight.

I heard him ask Vrinda to call the nurse.

" Can you call Vansh?"
I asked him, it was whisper.

He looked into my eyes and nodded.

I felt weak,
Maybe I should sit down

I slowly did sit down,
He sat down beside me
People were still standing in front of me.

My hands were entwined with his hands
I just wanted to close my eyes and sleep.
