fifth of january 2020ha-joon checked her phone for the last time, smiling as she stood up from the couch and left her mobile on one of the arms. despite her smile, she was completely freaking out about seeing her new roommate for the first time. he was finally moving in, after many conversations via messages and occasionally phone calls. his voice was always so relaxing and deep on the phone calls, so she felt she'd turn into a red-faced mess just by hearing him speak in real life. not to mention how good looking he was. there was going to be a lot of unprofessional blushing from the female. she raced around her apartment quickly, sliding into her room and getting dressed as fast as she could. in a rush, she put on a pretty, floral dress - which made her seem younger than she was. ha-joon would of brushed her hair, but before she could even attempt to find her brush, there was a loud knock on the door. shit.
ha-joon made her way to her front door, smoothing out her skirt right before swinging the door open hesitantly. there stood a man, a small but noticeable smile tugging at his red, attractive lips. ha-joon stood there frozen for a few moments, her eyes scanning the other's face in shock. he, taehyung, was even more good looking in person. she couldn't believe she'd be living with such a beautiful creature, she couldn't believe she'd be friends with such a person. though, she was quite sure he would have a girlfriend or boyfriend of some sort, his looks were far too good for him to not be in a relationship with someone else. though, why would he be wanting to live with her, if he could live with a significant other?
"hey! ha-joon, right?" taehyung smiled (breaking her trail of thoughts), dragging one of his two suitcases to his side before dragging the other one as well. he seemed so kind, like he was through the conversations and in the original application. the female took a deep breath before nodding, forcing herself to speak. she had to. "yeah- im guessing you're taehyung-" she responded, trying her hardest to not sound awkward and panicked. it sort of worked, though there was a hint of awkwardness in her voice as she spoke. "come in, your room is uh.." she trailed off, biting her lip before motioning her left hand to the hallway, "down there, somewhere-"
"thank you so much-" taehyung simply nodded, walking inside when ha-joon stepped to the side to make space. his two suitcases rolled behind him, one definitely looking harder to pull than the other. only god knew what was in it. when he found his room, ha-joon shut the front door of the apartment and wandered down the hallway, briefly stopping to look into the room taehyung was staying in. perhaps she was being a bit too curious. all he had unpacked was a console, that at a closer glance was a playstation. was that in the heavy suitcase? she didn't expect him to be into games. ha-joon watched for a bit longer, before turning away and brushing against the wall. he didn't seem to notice her, and kept on unpacking.
