Pool Party

It was about 7pm on the Sunday evening, Lili and Cole had spent the day shopping and preparing for all their friends to come over to announce the news of their engagement. Lili was choosing an outfit in her dressing room, she went for a pale blue bikini and a white floaty cover up. Cole appeared at the dressing room door and admired his stunning fiancé. Lili looked over to Cole who was wearing a loose white unbuttoned shirt and a pair of red trunks.

'You look beautiful baby' He said. Lili grinned at him.
'You're not looking too bad yourself' she giggled and walked over too him and kissed him before walking out the room and down to their yard. Cole followed.

He took off the pool cover and Lili started making some cocktails. Strawberry daiquiris.. her favourite. After about twenty minutes their doorbell rang. The couple both walked through the house and opened the door. It was Madelaine, Cami and Charles. They all greeted one another with hugs.

'I've missed you guys' Lili said excitedly before walking with the two girls out to the garden. Charles and Cole followed, having their own conversation. The girls reclined on the sun loungers whilst the boys jumped into the pool splashing them. After about half an hour, everyone had arrived. Kj, Cole, Charles, Casey and Skeet were all in the pool whilst, Roberto, Madchen, Matt, Chrissy were all talking at their outdoor bar. Cami, Madelaine and Lili were still on the sun loungers with a few others.

Lili quietly slipped away, and went upstairs to her dressing room, she had taken her engagement ring off before the party so no one would see it but put it on again now. She walked back down and outside where she found Cole and summoned everyone.

'Okay guys we kind of had an ulterior motive to this pool party,..We wanted to tell you guys that...' Cole started. Everyone looked at each other in confusion.
'We are engaged' Lili shouted excitedly and held up her hand showing everyone the ring. They were charged at by everyone and spent the next five minutes being hugged and congratulated by their friends.

'I cannot believe it' Cami giggled to lili.
'I know right, especially after there has been rumours of their break up for the last week' Madelaine added.
'What?' Lili asked confused.
'Whilst you guys were in Hawaii, the public went crazy that you guys hadn't been seen together for the whole week and because neither of you were on social media, everyone was coming up with rumours, I don't understand how you haven't seen them' Cami explained. At this point Charles, Cole and Kj had joined the three girls on the sun loungers.

'I have barely been on my phone i guess, maybe thats why I haven't seen any' Lili said and looked over at Cole, who looked away.
'Cole?' She asked. 'Did you know about this?' She asked. Cole nodded slowly.
'Why didn't you tell me?' She asked. The group around them all walked away so the couple could talk privately.

'Because i know you worry about these things' he said and looked at her.
'Cole i dont care if our fans think we broke up, i know that we are happy and thats all i care about.' Lili said ' I just wish you told me that's all' she finished.
'I'm sorry baby,' he said.
'It's fine, but it has given me an idea' she said with a cute smirk on her face.
'What?' Cole said.
'Well, the public think we've broken up, lets not confirm or deny anything, i love how only our families and friends know about our engagement, it makes it more special, we can just leave everyone to speculate, and maybe once we get married we can announce it to the world' she giggled.
'You think we can keep this under wraps until we get married?' He asked.
'Sure why not?' Lili said.
'Okay but we gotta get married soon then because we are going to a struggle not being seen together in public' he chuckled and pulled her in and kissed her.
'I like that, i cant wait to be your wife' lili said excitedly. 'But when? It takes ages to plan a wedding' she said sweetly.
'Well we better get started then' Cole chuckled before shouting out to everyone in their garden

'Alright everybody! Me and Lili only want the people here, and her family in Cleveland to know about our engagement, so that means we want our wedding to be as soon as possible so if you guys could help us keep it under wraps until then that would be great' he shouted loudly. There were cheers of agreement.

All of them spent the rest of the night, being stupid in the pool and dancing to music and drinking cocktails. It was great, but all Lili could think about was that soon she would be Mrs Sprouse, she could hardly contain her excitement.
