"Why did you reject him?"

The wind blew her black strands back. Her black hair was now prominent after a long period of time without hair dye. The purple only resides on her hair tips and was slowly fading away. She glanced at the laughing trio, Alibaba, Aladdin and Hakuryuu before looking back at the adorable but fierce Fanalis.

"Hey Morgiana, if you were given a double-edged sword, would you accept it?"

Misuki spoke softly and pulled on her necklace where her Djinn, Flare resided in. The mark shone for a second as if to reassure her, before fading away. The waves and the sea was a rare sight for Misuki to behold, for she was always shut in her room to study subjects such as sciences and foreign languages. Only once had she went to a beach and felt the small waves soak her feet. Now looking at the clear waters and smelling the fresh ocean air, she felt at ease and free.

The Fanalis looked at her briefly, before she shook her head.

Misuki smiled, "There's your answer."

Morgiana did not understand. Sinbad was a good man, a good King, and could be a good husband. An admirable man, although sometimes childish, was strong and protective. He helped Alibaba in Balbadd and accommodated them well in Sindria.

Misuki would be in good hands.

Morgiana was no fool in seeing the King's affection towards the Dungeon Capturer. The King and Misuki were close, there was no doubt in that. The way the King looked at her, his eyes would soften and his lips curled upwards into a smile. The small advances from Sinbad and the flushed faces of her friend were often a result of the King. It was so obvious that Morgiana couldn't help but felt bad for Sinbad.

She thought Misuki was oblivious to his affection. Strangely though, Morgiana could see the distant relationship between the two, nothing close to what a romantic one would look like. She may be young, but based on her feelings for Alibaba and the way she acted around the blonde, Morgiana did not see such...feelings expressed by the Dungeon Capturer.

"Sorry Morg, it's kinda complicated. But in short, I wanted to see the world than stay protected in his country." Misuki grinned. "I wanted to travel with you Morg!" She exclaimed while patting her head gently. Morgiana blushed and turned away to rub her cheeks.

"M-Me too. Let's go to the Dark Continent together."

A small sigh of relief left the Dungeon Capturer's lips, and luckily, it went unnoticed. She was glad that the Fanalis was a child, still innocent and naive despite her sharp senses. Her eyes stayed glued onto her reflection on the ocean waves as the Fanalis rushed to join the others.

When the night came. Morgiana and the boys retired to bed while Misuki kept watch over the ship. Her smile dropped into a nostalgic expression once they left her alone. She gripped onto the ledge and a frown hung on her face. The night reminded her of her home in the other world, and for what is about to come in this world.

"I'm sorry." She repeated over and over until her voice croaked. Tears dripped from her eyes and onto the ledge. She quickly wiped them away and inhaled a sharp but shaky breath to calm her feelings.

Misuki knew everything, the beginning, the middle, and the end. She knew every character and every villain. She knew his character so well that her decisions and relationship were affected negatively. She couldn't trust him. Never.

Oh, how knowledge could bring sadness.

Ironic isn't it?

It was in front of her the entire time and she refused to take action. The war between magicians and soldiers. The fall of a magic kingdom. The fall of the Kou empire. The rivalry between King Vessels.
