This was an interesting situation you found yourself in. 

One minute, you were just living a normal student life at Shibuya Academy, and then the next minute, you're sneaking around in a palace as an observer of sorts where the distortion of a target's desires existed. At least, that's how you understood it when Morgana explained it to you.

You could never forget that day. You were leaving school one day when you saw a student with short black hair and wearing glasses. You learnt that his name was Akira Kurusu and despite what the rumors said, he was a very quiet person, but with a lot on his mind, only saying whatever needed to be said.

And that was how your newfound friendship began. You didn't have much in the way of friends either, but you did tend to have an eye on someone you had come to like. A beautiful blonde girl who sat in front of Akira in class...Ann Takamaki.

You heard that she was a good girl with a good heart, but she also had loads of misinformed rumors that made her unpopular with a lot of girls, especially the ones on the volleyball team. It was then you witnessed the darkest moment in the school's history.

You were passing down the hallway when you saw Ryuji and Akira run past by, making you wonder what was going on. You soon found them and Mishima hiding behind a locker room, you heard them talking about what happened yesterday and it made you feel sick.

You then made up your mind. At that point, you didn't care if you got into trouble. If the academy is willing to go that far to keep secrets, it's better to feel...less strict. That mindset however gave you a feeling you hadn't felt before.

A desire to rebel!

And that led you to meeting the three of them in Kamoshida's palace. There were a few battles along the way, but as an observer, you kept your distance and watched them as they went to town on the shadows, it made you wonder if you had the potential.

You then reached a safe room to take a breather before setting out again, but as you were about to move forward, a loud scream was suddenly heard from far away.

"What the...who was that?" You asked.

"She must've followed us..." Akira answered. "...come on, we gotta move!"

Ryuji sighed. "Dammit...let's just hurry!"

She? They must've been referring to Ann. "I've...I've gotta save her!" 

You suddenly rushed on ahead despite the others calling for you to slow up. But you ignored them and ran to a hallway where a locked gate was now open. You rushed up to the door and heard a commotion. You opened it wide and you witnessed a disturbing scene.

"What the hell?!" You exclaimed in shock.

There was the sight of girls in sportswear that made you turn away. You then saw Ann being strapped onto a gold stand and the color from your face dropped.

"Hm?! Who's there?!" An odd voice called before turning to face you.

You gasped, it was Kamoshida for sure, but he was different, he was dressed like a king and he had pair of knights guarding him and Ann. The sight left you speechless...but eventually, you calmed down, remembering what Morgana said about the shadows. You know that this had to be the shadow version of Kamoshida, the side that shows his true feelings.

"What are you doing with Ann?" You asked.

"Y/N?!" Ann gasped. "You're here as well?"

"So you two know each other?" Kamoshida smirked. "Wait a second, I recognize you. You're that student who's all shy and works hard. A typical grade-A student like you shouldn't be here."
