The Beginning

Today was the big day. I quickly get out of my bed and I grab a pair of dark jeans and my plain blue shirt. Then I walk into my bathroom and I undress myself then I step into my shower and turn the water on. It takes a couple minutes but the water gets warm and I close my eyes letting the water fall down my body. I scrub the sweat from my body slowly and I wash the dirt from my hair. About an hour later I turn the water off and get out. Changing into my clothes as the water droplets from my hair get my clothes wet. After my shower I am energized and super excited for the big day that will change the rest of my life. You are all probably wondering what I am doing by now, well I am actually going to Japan. You are probably confused . I am going to Japan for my new life. Basically, I am a sixteen year old girl leaving my old life for a new one. How exciting does that sound? Well to me it is very exciting, so along with being sixteen I possess an uncanny ability that gives me superpowers if you wanna call it that. I guess they call my power a quirk. The main reasons I am leaving there are scientists who take me and experiment on me on a weekly basis. The other reason that I am leaving is that in the United States quirks are not common at all but in Japan a whole bunch of people from kids, to adults and, even infants have some sort of quirk.

Well it's now or never, I gather my things that I have packed and the moving crew is grabbing my furinature putting it in their moving truck to put it on the plane. One more hour of waiting I finally go into my car and I drive to the airport with the moving truck following me. It's like every minute that passes I feel really scared, or nervous, or excited that I am leaving my home. So many memories here in this little town called Colebrook. I grew up here. I had my first boyfriend here, my first steps, my first words, my first everythings is going to be weird moving away and far away at that. Great just what I need stuck on the flipping freeway?! I am gonna be late for my flight and I would have to wait another month just to have a decent plane that will hold the moving truck and my car. I ended up calling my teacher Mr. Awazia. Surprisingly he answers on the third ring.
"Who is this and why are you calling me at 2 o'clock in the morning?!" he says to me in a really pissed off but monotone voice.

I kinda jumped at his voice. It's hard for me to focus with all the noise around me. "Oh well um hello sir I didn't realize what time it was. I am sorry, please accept my apologies. I was just going to let you know that I might be late or something because I am trapped on the freeway."

"Ok you will most likely get here just in time because we decided to start classes on Tuesday not Friday," he says with a long tired sigh

I feel the noise go away as I take a deep breath. "Ok thank you sir I will see you on Tuesday then," we both hang up at the same time and I put my phone down looking ahead of me and the traffic is moving again. Thank the quirk gods! Let's go now! I have wasted a lot of time already. I gotta get going.

Two hours of driving I finally made it to the airport and just in time they were departing soon and by soon I mean like 15 minutes soon. So without anyone noticing I use one of my quirks that makes it so I can teleport to any place that is in my field of vision no matter how far away it is. By doing that I finally make it to my flight and I just sit there in relaxation allowing the plane to make it to my destination hoping that all of my things are there. Alright a tiny bit of a time skip because the last couple days that were basically my free days I spent unpacking and learning my way around my dorm house sort of speak. The dorms that I share with my class called 1-A are basically a whole bunch of dorms well in an apartment thing. Helpfully another one of my quirks makes it so I can understand and speak in any language. It just helps me hear it in English and my mouth talks in English as well but the others hear Japanese.

As I said before I came from the United States and quirks aren't well known. That wasn't the only reason, my parents kicked me out. They said that since my little brother didn't have a quirk I couldn't stay because they thought I was going to hurt him. So I had to leave. No I didn't want to go but I do understand their reasons, and to be honest I don't want to get experimented on anymore and I am glad I'm gone. Then my parents recommended me into UA High, the most prestigious school for kids with quirks and apparently we fight to the death but with other schools in Japan. Even though I had gotten in by recommendations I still learned a lot about UA and it's history. The walls that surround the campus are over 20 feet high and highly secured so nothing can get in or out that isn't supposed to be here. Another thing is that a lot of the pro heros are actually teachers at UA and I am pretty sure that my homeroom teacher is Mr. Aizawa, the pro hero Eraserhead who can erase any quirk just by looking at them, but when he blinks his quirk stops working.
