They try to knock us down, cuz they hate to see us smile. Instead all we really tryna do is make our families proud. We all cut from the same cloth, bleed the same blood, but for some weird reason we don't reciprocate that love. Black lives matter, oh and yours do too, but nobody sees it that way, what did MLK Jr., do? We fought so hard for justice and equality, but a badge and a gun means everything when they got us on our knees. Racism was never dead, it keeps getting fed; and for the rest of my life I shouldn't have to plead and beg. It's sad the way it goes, why nobody wants to be "Black" the world may never know. We didn't ask to be here, but this land we will share. R.I.P George Floyd.
