A silver haired girl in a snow coat stares out at the waterfront before turning around, showing a snowflaked-mask, and giving a glittering smile. "Hello! My name is Flake and I am one of the known heroes of Teroville City! You might be asking yourself, 'But what's so special about Teroville City? And why's a hero talking to me?' Well, because I want to share about our beautiful city and how open minded it is to everyone who comes through and all the possibilities you might find!" She turns, and suddenly she's in the middle of a crowded street, towering buildings surround her along with people walking about. She opens her arms wide. "The people who live and thrive here always have a peace at mind, knowing that their heros, The Legends, are always there to protect them and keep them safe from harm or danger, whether it be small," she kneels down and helps a man pick up some papers, "or big." She hands loaves of bread to young children, "Whether mother nature is testing us," a piece of hail, the size of a bowling ball, falls from the sky and she catches it, throwing it back up in the air, letting it shatter and become snow, "or even man, himself." A snowball forms in her hand and she turns to throw it at a man with a gun. As soon as it hits him and brings him to the ground, the snow breaks but forms around the hand holding the gun and freezes the man's hand to the sidewalk. "We'll be there." A tiger appears at her side before changing in a puff of smoke, to a boy in a black jumpsuit with white letters down his leg. Another boy, this one in a yellow jumpsuit with black lettering on his right arm, runs up to the other boy's side and fans out in front of him shining cards. A tree to the side of them twists to open up, allowing a girl in a green jumpsuit to exit from the inside and stand with them, vines and flowers growing up her arms. Another girl drops from the sky, her shining yellow and silver wings out for a minute before folding up behind her blue jumpsuit, as she throws a lazy arm around the girl wearing green. And finally, as the one named Flake takes off her jacket, revealing her own silver jumpsuit, a boy in a red jumpsuit breaks through a wall behind them, stepping up to rap his arms around Flake's waist. They smile and say "Welcome to Teroville City!"
The screen pauses on the group, and a groan is let out. "See?! I told you! Right as I ran up, I stumbled!" The boy pointed a finger at himself in the yellow suit, looking to his companion for input. But the other one looked at the screen and chuckled. "At least you made it look like you meant to get closer to the camera. I didn't even know what to do with my hands." The one by the tv huffed before throwing himself down on the couch and glaring at the screen. "You never know what to do with anything, Ritchie." Ritchie opened his mouth to retort, but was cut off as another boy looked at them, from a kitchen counter. "Oy! Would you quit? That was the best cut out of 13 that we did because everyone kept messing up! I think the only person who didn't mess up was Fionna and she had the most lines!" Next to him, Fionna's cheeks turned slightly pink as she looked down at her hands. "Jonah, really, I had the only lines and messed them up the most. And Craven I think you did really well. Holding up your knives in that cut gave you a better look." Craven ignored the compliment and placed a playing card between his teeth. Fionna sighed before turning to the other two girls and saying "But I think Gale had a really clever idea of coming out of the tree." The one named Gale looked up from the piles of papers around her, looking between Flake and the tv. "Oh, that. Eh, I honestly didn't care for which one we were given. The lines they gave, on the other hand, could've been worked on a bit more. You sound like a robot. What do you think, Tarea?" She looked to the final member who sat upside down in the oval seat. Tarea looked up at the mention of her name, giving a questioning hum. Gale sighed. "What's your intake on the commercial we did?" Tarea turned her eyes to look at the tv, studied it for a moment, before bringing her phone up to her face. "The jumpsuits are the worst part." Craven sat up yelling "Yes! Exactly!", Ritchie threw his head back and laughed, Fionna mumbled, saying something along the lines of 'Thought they were fine', Jonah looked at her, his eyebrows raised, and Gale turned away, chuckling, and saying "Of course." Tarea looked around at her compatriots, shrugged, and went back to her phone and her train of thought.
3 years ago, Tarea Matrinov had been invited to join The Legends, one of the most famous groups of heros known throughout the world, because of her 'gift'. Her strong and powerful wings that erupted from her back along with the fire that she could summon to her hands at will. Other than that, you would have thought she was just another person. Short curly red hair that fell to her shoulders, her cloudy grey eyes, and her normal flat, tall figure gave no hint to what she had or could do. Compared to her teammates, though, there was a considerable difference. Craven Harlo was short, thin, agile, his shaven blonde head and dark brown eyes perfect for his bad-boy image that he was trying to go with, but was hidden under a hood and a birds mask, along with his throwing capabilities and skills. Having grown up with only the backstreet kids and always getting into sticky situations, he started to hone the skill of knife throwing and speed. He was quick, having escaped many situations, and stealthy, for he knew how to keep himself quiet like a shadow. Any target no matter the distance or even if he couldn't see it, he was always able to hit it. He used his specially made knives that were created to resemble playing cards, saying that they had a perfect balance, thus giving him his code name King of Spades, or King. Ritchie Memphis was tall, handsome, with his hair constantly dyed blonde and his green eyes always hidden behind blue contacts. He was Mr. Perfect to many and Mr. Jungle to others. He lived a normal life, only to discover at a young age that he was able to turn into an exact copy of his family's dog. From then on out, he used his ability to turn into any animal to mainly show off or to play as a joke, he was also the only one of the group that didn't try to hide his identity. That somehow didn't stop the ladies from fawning over him. Fionna Blanke, or Flake, was everyone's idea of beauty. Small, slightly curvy, with big blue eyes and long, straight silver hair, she was queen of the cold, able to make anything around her freeze up or have ice at her fingertips. She, too wore a mask, but would cloud it with ice so her eyes would seem different along with making her hair lighter to the point it was white.
There was also the team leader and Fionna's boyfriend, Jonah Zachariha. Short black hair, tall, built figure, he was known as Iron. Whenever on a mission his skin would turn to silver, his strength beyond anyone's capabilities and a strong will to uphold the team's name. He was the face and the spokesperson for the group and he was also a man who wouldn't tolerate rule breakers. They did everything by the rules, such as no one should hurt a teammate or treat the team as family. And then, there was Gale Quincy. Short as well but with long black hair that was always pulled into a bun, and beautiful yellow eyes that she would hide behind a mask of vines. She was the first of the group that met Tarea. She had walked into the book shop that Tarea worked at and asked for a recommendation. From there they started chatting and then having lunch and then dinner. On one night, Tarea had shown her wings, to which a surprised Gale showed her own power, the power to control nature. Along with that she revealed that she was also Rosebud from the Legends, even suggesting Tarea join them. Eventually, she agreed and approached Jonah, who was happy to welcome her. Of course, he had to break down the rules for her and everything they did. Finally, he explained that there was another group of heros but that they should never be approached or interacted with known as The Swordsmen. Their group had their own agendas and only helped those that would give them something in return, not to mention that many people got hurt when their group was called upon. Jonah made Tarea swear to keep her distance from them. At the time, it seemed like an easy thing to do. She swore in and Jonah, with a smile, welcomed her into the family.
