The Bane of Everin

INTRO -

Eastewin was a large province, it flourished with strong kingdoms and holds. Its dirt is fertile and skies clear other than the occasional rain. One problem reigns over this lovely land, greed. Eastewin is made of four kingdoms and nine holds. The head kingdom being the kingdom of Lothic. The king of lothic died two years ago of a very sudden sickness. His son gladly took over, he quickly raised the taxes and killed any who stood against him showing his dominance. Many high families saw his reign as a ruling of terror and secretly worked to bring his throne toppling down. One of these families being the famous house of Draken, House of the dragon, house of great power. The house of Draken had won a war for the king's father back in his younger days against a growing rebellion gaining high court favor. House draken was widely respected by both poor and high people, which hadn't caught the attention of the young king. Taverns hold a great place for stories and gossip, one of which tells a history about the head kingdom and its origin family. It is told that the Draken family came from the mythical kingdom of Iornholt said to be carved in the side of the great north wind mountain range and founded the kingdom of lothic which then, many years later, led to the grand province Eastewin. Nobody knew if this story was true but it sure was a great story to start off the night. Before long the king heard of this great family. He was not scared or worried of their power, he saw it as a great chance to show his kingdom and the world his power.

When dragons sleep some look like hills and some look like mountains. Great, Tall, and thought to be harmless until an action is taken to awaken them. Then the hills will burn and the mountains will fall. Who are you, the hills and mountains, the weary soul who disrupts, or the dragon?
